I downloaded the game as requested. (week 1). However, i'm still having issues. Really annoying.

That is the intended behaviour for the game in Week1, you will have to load a save with the working music to get it back.

Hey dude,
being on a "pirate forum" does NOT mean, that you have to pirate all time.
Asholes (sorry people if you match this group) are those, who grab ALL games ALWAYS for free, and even then maybe start shitstorming if something is not gonna be as they want it to be.
Smart guys use the "pirate forum" to get knowledge about new games, have a free look into that games, decide if they are worth to support without "buying the shit unseen" and without knowing what exactly they support.
After they found a game which is worth to support, they patronize.
The devs deserve a reward for their work, or they would mostly stop their job.
If all guys would be like you (i assume you are a pirate-only-user, based on your statement, but i might be wrong) there would be much less games. And finally think about your "heroes" which have to be a patreon though to be able to link the newest versions.
The big problem for the devs is not that their games are leaked over here at all, the biggest problem are those people, who still think, that copyright issues are meaningless in web, and being on a "piracy site" gives them the rights to do everything they want, so that they download always, all and everything without donating any Cent to any dev.
The last waterdrop within the barrel wich gets the barrel to overflow is, that mostly those, who support never ever, are those who complain the most and start the biggest shitstorm whenever they "dont like" what they grabbed, or whenever something is not going to be done as they want it to be, because they still think that THEY are the audience, a dev has to listen at.
well, day 8+9 is just out of internal playtest. ALPHA means that this version might be full of bugs. There is a BETA afterwards and finally a RELEASE - and even then there might be some bugs which were overseen before.
To complain about the ALPHA versions bugs is like you just have learned to drive a bicycle with supporting wheels, but complain that you can't win the "Tour de France".
The Alpha is not made for players to enjoy a final polished game, it's made for finding out bugs. If you can't handle an alpha version, just dont grab it, and wait until the official release. BTW: there is a discord channel where you are able to report your issues of alpha and beta versions and maybe help to solve the problems, instead of trying to fix the problems over here

As someone currently hurrendously underemployed. I get incredible enjoyment out of this game and if I can nail this next interview to get a pretty big job this will be the first game I patron more than the measly dollar I do, followed by WillTylor

As i am a proofreader you may understand that personally i don't leak anything, but i really suggest to wait some more days. The team is working hard on fixing several known bugs, nevertheless the next update should be officially out soon(1-2 weeks i guess, nothing official, but personal guess).
Normally the Beta should start 1 week after Alpha and 1 week after beta should be release. The Alpha is out for a week right now, so i assume the Beta to start this WE and next week Release.
But again: this is nothing official, but a personal guess.

I don't mind waiting, i'm patient guy, i can wait till Blue and team decide that game is good enough to realise. Adding to this i'm kinda of "unofficial user", so i don't see why you feel sorry about it.
Ofc i wanna new uptdate asap, but i don't see the reason too rush(dev) in the same time, it will bring only toxic like in MC thread where people just lost their mind, IT'S JUST MADNESS why people are so inpatient nowa days......

Unfortunately Week 1 does not work with old saves (from before the Week 1 release), I recommend just skipping through the game again (or playing through it again normally as we ended up remaking quite a bit of the first few days)

Is there a chance we'll get the option for letters with outlines?
I was really happy to see the option for a transparent dialogue box, tried it, but regardless of my letter colour choices, within minutes I ran into background images that made it pretty hard to read the text, in the end I switched it back to default. If we could set letter colour/outline colour separately, that'd solve the problem. Not sure how difficult it is to implement tho.

can someone help me why in day 5 i get something like image not found and like some story is missing.i use the lain mod and dark mind patch. is there something wrong ?
