You really are working like a machine on this game, absolutely worth the small bit of change every month to support.
Go to the monster list, select the monster, then select "use item" then select the item you wanna use when the bag comes up from there. How do you use items? I don't see any keyboard controls.
I went into bag and tried space over potion but nothing is happening.
Question how can i put my monsters in the stable? since you can do it?Q+A
Q: Only pregnancy in bad ends?
A: STABLES and breeding are coming. Pregnancy and impregnation is my biggest interest as well and the game is called: EGGOMON. Believe me, it's coming. Need convincing? I created an 88 frame custom animation of a sperm fertilizing an egg JUST for this alpha pitch:
View attachment 3108134 This one's on the house btw, most of my assets will eventually be relased under CC0. God knows I have been generously plucking CC0 assets since development began.
Q: What else (that wasn’t mentioned in the PITCH) is going to be added as development continues?
A: 50 + areas. Monsters, possibly forever. Custom sound effects. Music. There will be 11 Scouts as player characters. Loads more achievements and Unlocks to help you advance further in runs. A KEYWORDS system that will encourage party diversity even more than the Elemental damage system. Opposing trainers. Rival characters. Day/Night cycle with a whole CAMP OVERNIGHT mechanic where monsters get hungry, you feed them and their obedience increases or lowers and they might try and breed the scout if they become disobedient. Once the breeding mechanic [STABLES] is set up, defeated scouts, and defeated enemy humans, will be added to a monster stable you will run. The story. Legendary Monsters, boss battles. Endings. I would love to have as many assets professionally remade as possible, so your contribution goes towards that.
Q: Why no levelling up mechanic?
A: Levelling up is a time consuming mechanic that simply makes NUMBER GO UP while making current and previous areas of a game world much easier. People play NSFW games for the CONTENT, and when people boot up a game AGAIN after putting it down for some time, they want to experience the NEWEST content. Eggomon aims to keep old areas fresh and relevant by allowing the player to return to old zones and experience new monsters, as well as offering multiple new starting locations across the map. This means areas cannot be gated by a numbered difficulty.
FURTHERMORE, monsters become more powerful by eating up to 5 fruits. Fruits are found randomly. These fruits will increase a monster’s stats and even give them new KEYWORDS that can affect... EVERYTHING. From how often you find items in battle, to how quickly obedience degrades, special effects in battle between turns, or even how fast you can run. With multiple start locations, and Evolution stones and Fruits being randomized I hope that people can have a unique experience each time they play the game. You will also be breeding much more powerful (better stats) monsters. Good thing too, because the enemy party can be made to be up to 24 monsters in size, ALREADY.
Q: Is the art in the game final?
A: Since I (Invader Incubus (InIn)) am NOT a full time pixel artist, I consider any content I personally make, as NOT the final version. Someday I would like to hire someone with talent to redo most of the CONTENT in the game. In the meantime I will continue to cobble together the game by myself. Most of the sprites are currently an awkward 128 x 128 pixel resolution and when redrawn they will be made to be 256 x 256. Also I would love to be more generous with how many frames animations can have, and custom climaxes, monster entrances and grabs.
Q: Are the scouts all going to be recolors?
A: Every 3 Scouts (There will be 12 total) will share the same general body plan and have different colors and aesthetic. If this wasn't the case then there would simply be too much sprite work needed each time a new monster is added, and I need to be finishing one monster a month, at least, on top of everything else.
Q: The Monster (or option) I voted for, lost the election, will it ever be added to the game?
A: Maybe. It would cheapen the whole election system (which is the reward for being a patron) if I added in content that lost an election, immediately. I am thinking that any content that loses an election, but remains popular will not be revisited for at least a year. Content that loses a poll by a slim margin is likely worth revisiting in a run-off poll against other “lost content”.
Q: I don't like that the election this month is between two chubby / tall slim / shorstack / monstergirls. I don't like the election this week is between more feral looking monsters. I don't like that the election this week is between monster-men... Make them all female bimbo models please.
A: I would like that, but its boring. If I put up elections between a chubby monster design and a more traditionally beautiful one the traditionally beautiful one will win out 90% of the time. As it STANDS, MOST monster elections will be for monster-girls. I am going to keep the designs mostly diverse, and often inspired by mythology, or um, TRADITIONAL monster catching tropes.
Please ask whatever questions you may have in the comments, or on the games F95 Zone page. I will answer as best and often as I can. I will also save the best questions and repost them as part of future Q+A updates.
agreed the game over part is a huge turn offThis is a great H game in potential seem so far, needs to lose the game over aspects somewhat and be more flexible. I supported on the substar and left my thoughts over there, good luck dev!
Thanks, it means a lot to me that you noticed this. Let's hope it pays off.You really are working like a machine on this game, absolutely worth the small bit of change every month to support.
I agree, even a mild opening cinematic where the scouts receive their orders to explore the crater (the game is set in a circular space which is a crater) would give the game a little forward momentum. What this game lacks is direction, I believe if you provided the player with direction and at least some sort of gameplay loop, you'd have something here that players would be willing to playtest, but as it stands there's nothing to do, it's an empty world with a few collectables and a battle system you try to avoid.
It's a hardcore roguelite pokemon. There are unlocks you can take in between runs though. You get to play through multiple scouts. Soon the player will have 4 lives, and the people who play to the mechanics seem to think the game is too easy. I just don't see the BAD ENDS aspect changing.agreed the game over part is a huge turn off
"I" opens the inventory and you can quick select monsters with "1-6" When I allow the bag to be used the healing item available in combat will be herbs which come with a cost.I find it extremely frustrating that I have to face 3-4 enemies in a row quite often. It wouldn't be so bad if I got to use potions mid combat but the "bag" option is always greyed out.
Okay, so in the interest of total honesty and transparency:Is there or will there be some kind of sandbox options that potentially allow you to replace male monsters/enemies with futa ones? I love the concept behind this game so far and I love games with similar premises, I just don't want to be put off by nigh unavoidable male characters. I figure since it's a game with breeding as a core component lesbian content isn't gonna show up all that much but futa is the next best thing,
A ratio like that is something I find totally acceptableThanks, it means a lot to me that you noticed this. Let's hope it pays off.

Lesbian content will show up once story stuff gets added in but that's a ways away. The post-apocalyptic society the scouts originate from is SOLELY comprised of women, who need to send out scouts to recover materials they require.
The game is going to be mostly futa monsters, I air drop in monsters occasionally and they are sometimes male beast monsters since I feel like people would prefer to vote on cute monstergirls.
So far there are 30 monsters (15 evolved) and 6 (3) males. I feel like a 1/5 ratio is totally acceptable.
I get this request occasionally so maybe an all futa/female mode will be something to consider.
But its low priority.
So of the two things you want, one is in the far future, and the other might not happen.
She lost NORMALLY? Or lost by being impregnated? I think i am currently incorrectly showing them as knocked up when they lose normally... People seem to lose battles normally so rarely. But I do need to look into this and make sure the code is pushing the scout down the appropriate lose path.Invader Incubus Losing gives knocked up screen, but then they're fine when you check them in stables

I'm changing how the game saves, some people who have this problem might have the game in a write protected folder? I also wonder if running the game as administrator would help... I'm looking for where the garbage is piling up because I have heard this before from SOME people but not everyone. The lag becomes progressively worse during gameplay.

I don't mind if the game is too easy or too hard I care about my boner staying alive, and I can't do that when all I get is game overs. This is a common trope in generic H games and an old debated topic; there have been devs that have a stick up their ass about difficulty needing to be super important for some reason. I sure hope you aren't one of them 'cause it's a red flag for anyone who's been playing H games for a few years by now and dealt with this shit with multiple different devs. A game only needs to have a failure state to be considered a game by definition, and that definition is flexible and broad. Just by losing is enough that can be rewarding in it's own way. Game overs are a lazy way of doing it, similar to beating a boss and getting a reward HCG, old and overused methods of interactions. Thanks, it means a lot to me that you noticed this. Let's hope it pays off.
