Yeah, though Sengoku Rance still has the best gameplay : p , ever. But I really like the character design of Eiyu Senki (in that Eiyu Senki wins), that artist is incredibly good.
On a side note I like how both those games parody historical figures, which is particularly fun regarding Eiyu Senki since it's worldwide history.

So here are the differences between Eiyuu Senki and GOLD:
GOLD isn't a SEQUEL, it is A SIDE STORY! AN ALT STORY IF YOU WANT!
The MC: In the original, he's an Isekai'd MC! In GOLD, he already is in the Eiyuu Senki world (part of it)
Sex Scenes: GOLD has more sex scenes than the regular one even though you can't still do it with everyone. Rejoice still. GOLD however, has a special treat for you: If you defeat a girl with a special attack, her clothes will tear off!
Story: This is the lackadaisical part about GOLD since the story isn't as good as the original. I played the game in Japanese so I didn't understand a lick about it. I have to play this one to differentiate but it is still a lackluster story.
Gameplay: In contrast, gameplay has been drastically improved! The Mages for example are given a better purpose, some characters got rebalanced and some got nerfed to the ground. Some also got ALT Personas. Also, there is Item Fusion in order to collect more items!
Favorite characters (design-wise): ALEXANDER (Full Heterochromia and literally the only waifu that WEARS A WEDDING DRESS in this game).

NO! You don't lose ANYTHING playing on Easy! You just lose the achievement of finishing it on HARD that's it!
Normally I like to play through a game and unlock at leas 70% by myself before enabling the rest of the cgs with someone else's save/with "hack", but now I'd like to kindly ask for a full unlock save, cuz I already played the original, and I don't really want to play a shit ton with basically the same game. :/ Do pm/tag me, when you provide it, thank you! ^^
Your loss! It's not the same game! Alternate NEW Story, new characters, new ways to unlock them and new challenges.
Plus, I hope they included the Majikoi DLC in this (The Japanese version has Hazakura Seiso as a DLC in this game)
Can someone confirm that the Majikoi DLC is in this version?!

Are the characters personality completly different too?
Also, I don't have too much time, that's part of the reason why I'd like to do it this way.
Edit: Ah fuck it... I'll start playin' with it normally, but I would appreciate a save regardless, in case I don't deem it worthy of playin' through again.
Since this is an alternate universe, yes, their personality is different of course!
