So far this game is rather simple as far as playing it goes. It is a bit buggy. My first save slot seems to work fine but when I play a game with the second save slot, the red tents with the elves are all missing. The so called milking machine does not automate milking, as much as I was hoping for that feature. Having 5 elves trying to keep up with their milking is tedious. As far as hunger goes, there is the hunger for the MC and then the hunger for animals and npc slaves. Thirst as well. Use the table to feed your npc's, they do not seem to get thirsty. As for the livestock they each require their own feed type. You need to process the grass for feed for both chickens and cow types. Pigs are easier once you have your chickens going. Kill most of the male chickens and let the females lay their eggs. Not even certain if you even need any male chickens at all. Keep hatching eggs till you have enough for your needs.
All crops are much easier to deal with when they are farmed instead of having to scavenge for them, such as small meat and grass. Need to have large meat to unlock the alchemy table so for me it was just easiest to deal with the cow type, instead of the pig type. For hunger start with the sauteed wild vegetables for your personal food where you will want to keep a stack on your quick bar. This fulfills both the hunger as well as healing you and keeps thirst under control. Do not use the table for feeding your MC, as it just fills the hunger gauge without filling thirst and hp. Use sell small meats the first couple days to buy seeds and the first level of inventory expansion. Beyond that unlock kabobs for a much better return as a cash crop. Bagels works as well, especially because all parts can be farmed. Either option works for cash. Make certain to do the mission objectives. You can not complete an objective if the items are split between your quick-bar and the inventory.
When your NPC slaves have the milk bottle you can milk them, an irritatingly tedious mechanism that you need to keep repeating over and over again. You need to Fuck the girls when they have the hearts over their head as they will walk instead of hustle to get around. The milk bread is a good late game hunger item, and the bubble tea is what you probably should use for thirst late game. Deposit the extra tools into your inventory storage as there are basically targeted items that you will want to go out harvesting on your various trips. You do not need to carry everything.
Overall I find the game easy once I figured out how to interact with the various items and how to start the crafting mechanic. On the other hand there are just a bunch of highly tedious actions such as the milking mechanic that I would have appreciated having an automated option, especially when there was an in-game event that promised an automated milking option.
Of an end note, you need to get way ahead on the grinders, and do not refill them mid grind as it wastes the material. Personally I would recommend getting twice or three times what you think you need for the grinders, and overstock on the feed material.
