Has the developer said anything about the time frame of a season? Does a season correspond to a year, or a semester or something else?
I don't know how long academic studies take in the UK but perhaps it might be important to focus on 3rd year students depending on the length of a season.

I recall him saying a season would focus on a term or semester to yourself.
Which makes sense as there are 3 school terms in a year.
So we are looking at
Sept to Dec (ends at xmas)
Jan to mar (ends at easter)
Apr to. Jul (ends at summer)
(the months can vary)
Uni course here in UK can range from anywhere from length really. They are usually 3 years, but can be as low as 1 and high as 6 depending on what you're there for

Each season will be one term, so the whole 3 seasons covers his FIRST year of University.

It's always a good sign to me when the Dev plans this all out and knows where he's going and how he's going to get there, before he even starts. Much less chance of abandonment.
Although if this Dev doesn't learn to say sorry update will be a couple of weeks late and stop working 24/7 to get the update out, burnout becomes a real possibility.
if 7 episodes is 1 term, and we're already on ep 3, we're in for a few time skips.

I played episode 3 but did not encounter Paris except in Saki's colorful reportage. So I started over, which I was planning to do anyway since I hadn't paid much attention to the choice of perks and other stats. I did notice some changes since my first play trough. I have to give compliments to the developer, not only can he write well, there is the requisite amount of humor in it and the female beauty is also very worth seeing. When the main character pretends to be good at French a few times the option is “no”. Isn't it more logical to answer with a “non”. With a “no” it is already immediately clear that you have lied.

I have my AVN games on a portable hard disk and when I could not use my own computer I continued with that hard disk on another computer. But when I wanted to start “Elmwood University” it was immediately deleted from my hard disk by AVG and put in quarantine because it was said to be infected with IDP.Generic. Has anyone else had this experience as well?

Yeah, I get it now and then with games, but it's not an issue/it's a false positive or whatever. My suggestion is never to download from the comments/replies, always download from the OP, as the uploaders run the files through virus checking as an extra measure for everyone's safety. Searches generally note something along the lines of "most definitely a false positive as the game did something identical to malware that Avast's behavioral blockers did not like."

Never happened on my end with any of the versions. Most likely a false flag, otherwise, there would be more outrage by now aswell ^^, As the other poster mentioned aswell, if you downloaded it via the links on the first post, it's pretty much impossible to get something nasty.

scrappy Freaqy This has probably been asked already, but any chance a compatibility patch can be made for the walkthrough and the twins patch?
I installed the WT mod and then the twins patch. Not sure if it would work the other way around. Either way, in Eps. 2 and 3 (the patch ones), the WT isn't there, though the cheats work fine.

You can still get this issue, but downloading from the OP gives you that extra safety net. I only ever download from the OP, even if it sometimes means I have to wait a couple of days if the uploaders are busy/short staffed. I remember I had this issue with Summer Heat 0.6 originally, then a couple of other games since (including one I tried just yesterday, a little while before your post about it!). That would be on scrappy to implement in their mod. Their WT mod is built from the base game files instead of the patched version so they're incompatible.

All good, my friend. I figured as much. As much as I love his mod, twins > everything else.
Plus, the stat cheats still work, and I can use the URM for anything else. Though the URM doesn't determine stat changes like on other games; it just shows what scene it jumps to next. Guess it's just how the game is coded.Anyways, thank you for the response!
