wtf that game is weird. Why did the maker of the game ruin it so much? 75% of the items are now cursed. 80% of classes are useless. The new opponents are mercilessly overpowered. In the beginner dungeon dots with 18 HP per round? This requires a stunlock of at least 2 characters. And the enemies resist 90% of attacks and have tons of buffs? Or is the last patch broken?

Valid points all around, but I'm a simple man: more ratkin content please :3
"Cute snouts and delicious ears"-supremacy is what this game is all about...which is a bit weird, seeing as I don't tolerate furries.

If the game mechanics actually made it possible, I'd even advocate for ratkin events in town. Possibly even involving the guild master...who we all know is female and the biggest and most degenerate perv of all the game's characters.
It would be nice if transformative items like Ratkin, bats and goblin got its own skilltrees where at higher levels I could equip gear and get new skills like all the cursed classes.

Every kind of zone got different team comps that is good just like Darkest dungeon its inspired by.
Like the place with lots of ratkin a group with Nobles and Rogues with riposte are butal because ratkin spellcasters aoe a lot so you dodge and riposte them to death.

Yes, physical attacks are pretty useless. Even the Ratkin Casters have an automatic buff every round. Only having 3 alchemists with shotguns and a healer makes sense. But first get 3 shotguns and then spend 10K gold in the psychiatry after every dungeon to get rid of the negative qualities of death. So you need 3 to 4 full groups to be able to play reasonably well.

Lets just say that mages get potent fast. You can easily clear any dungeon with them just spamming fireball with the cursed fireball staff which at endgame do like 50 damage on crit (goddess items late game / heels of education early for speed help) to each the center 2 slots of the enemy team.

When they cant target anything with the forced spell you have magic missile which can bypass defensive tokens and flashfire for big single target damage. They also have a heal which is incredibly potent with crit chance.

I know game communities are always a bit annoying, but this thread is really making it a prime example of every single toxic behaviour from whining, through demanding, up to "I know better how you should design the game then you, as I'm the player".

Madodev you are the first and only so far nsfw dev I'm supporting on patreon and I quite enjoyed following your updates - and the direction you have been taking worked well. Looking at the game and your development speed I'm suspecting also some very solid engineering you are doing there. Best of luck and please remember most players just silently enjoy the game.
Yup i have to agree with this. The game is on a great path and the best thing that can be done is to just support what they are doing without running around making demands. All ive been asking for is more of what is already happening but i am perfectly content with where the game is headed even if none of what ive said gets acted on. I hope nobody has taken any of what i said as some kind of demand or backseating though as that was not my intention.

Just a friendly reminder that 1.3.4 has a bug which causes tokens and dots to only show up at the end of turns. It also has some bugs with move requirements.
The public 1.3.3 is a much stabler version. I'm not responsible for uploading any non-public versions. Feel free to play them - this is a pirate site after all - but please don't be surprised if they are unstable.

Screenshot_20240804_215627.jpg So after looking up this error it appears my phone is too old to play the game on android (LMAO).
I'm using a Galaxy S10+ running android version 12 and I cannot fix this.

After playing for a couple hours, here's my feedback:
- My biggest complaint is it got super laggy overtime. It gets to a point where it's using up similar resources to valorant which I find crazy. There's no settings which help reduce lag.
- I wish items would merge stacks in the inventory when you get multiple copies of it
- There are too many lewd item drops. I'd like at least 1 dungeon option which does not have a lewd item drop a lot of the time. Which also makes the game feel more grindy cuz I'm just doing the dungeon to get the gold/mana. But having the same numbers reward becomes repetitive...
- I'd also like a speed change setting for combats
- The probability of mimics is a bit too high to where I'm disincentivized to open chests when using pushing comps
- Since dungeons always generate in a corner to corner way, I'd like map borders
- Employment jobs just don't give enough bonuses imo. Also if I want lewd items it's more efficient to wait awhile before rescuing a character because they'll come back with a full set of gear, which makes farming for any lewd type of gear feel like an inefficient use of time.

They do, once you get four copies. There's a "NG+" option to reduce this to two copies as well. But the items need to be both identified (No ? next to the name) and uncursed (broken padlock icon, or no padlock at all). This also can only happen with items in your inventory, it doesn't count items still equipped on girls.

Once the items get stacked, you essentially have infinite copies, signified by the infinity symbol in the top-right of the item card, and that item will no longer drop. Enemies can still equip cursed items you've got infinity'd though.

Also to note, there's some items that can't be uncursed, but I believe they're given special treatment and can become infinite without uncursing them, but you need to use some creative ways to unequip them.
- The probability of mimics is a bit too high to where I'm disincentivized to open chests when using pushing comps
Mimic chests do a little shake periodically, requiring a bit of attention to spot them. I believe there's also a "NG+" option to remove them though. There's also an option to hide that shaking if you want it even harder too.

So far I've only been "lucky" enough to get the dungeon with the fireball staff twice. And the two girls immediately had the coat of arms, which reduced the magic damage by 80% after each dungeon. Mage are far too weak for that and the new enemies like crabs or the fire slimes "kill" them in 2 rounds. It's just a real fun killer. And the game is actually good. Too little sex and male monsters.

A reminder this game draws HEAVY inspiration from Darkest Dungeon, but unlike DD, it doesn't have a death-spiral. Dungeon supplies do not cost any gold, and abandoning a mission will still pass the day, so the tavern stress reduction and other daily-things tick over. in DD, you could doom yourself by abandoning or losing too often, to where you couldn't get any supplies, new recruits, or stress-relief. This game doesn't have that. Battle going poorly? Dungeon only half done, and out of morale for health refills?

Retreat. You keep everything you found so far, and may get some negative traits. Who cares, you only get a max of 5 negatives, then they override eachother. Pushing to the end of a rough dungeon may actually be worse than retreating, due to enemies being able to boost your lewd crest scores at high stress levels.

Get a solid front-liner, a dodgy or tanky number 2, then a cleric (or mage if you feel like gambling) and damage dealer for 3 and 4. Avoid fighting as much as able until you find the exit, then work through them easiest to hardest by enemy type seen on the map.

Honestly, just avoid slimes if you can. They are beefy, auto-block, when they merge all damage dealt to the merged ones is useless, and all the slime variants are a PAIN (if more than 2 fire slimes are in a enemy party, just retreat) to fight. Ratkin are pretty predictable, just focus-fire the morters, or force them into position 1 repeatedly.

The game punishes getting greedy and over-reaching. "I can take a few more deaths-door hits" is not a mentality you should foster. Unless you have teams you are perfectly ok with just losing, AND the items they have equipped, you should be trying to retreat on your first or second death's door warning (depending if it was a lucky crit or not). There is no time limit, no cash-crunch, no slow drain or minimum profit needed per day. Also, power-level the everliving fuck out of your wagon and your maid-capacity, get those max-stat newcomers and huge morale pool for dungeons, it'll change everything.

Really cool game. I think the dev is doing the right thing giving his game a unique flair to differentiate it from other porn games.

Madodev, does this game any kind of wiki? This game has tons of content and mechanics. Lots of experienced players have been posting great advice for beginners about various aspects of your game all over this thread. A wiki can help you and your fans present these things in a more organized manner.

The biggest difference this game with Darkest Dungeon(DD) is the important of Destiny Points(DP). This basically encourage player to play NG+ after getting enough DP from your 1st playthru. For example, Free Reroll(50 DP) and Easy Unlimited Gear(50 DP). Free Reroll will speed up the lvling of your girls so much, bcos u can keep changing goals before every dungeon. Easy Unlimited Gear will makes your collection of item maxes up so much faster, bcos u basically only need 2 copies instead of 4.
Personally, I hope Madodev makes the tutorial rewards DP and shows new players how crucial collecting DP as soon as game started. OR maybe you can buy the NG+ trait as soon as u have enough DP without starting over can be nice also(just throwing ideas here)

Holy crap I freaking hate broodmother spiders. It was a novice dungeon. Had a team of level 4's -- mage, maid, and cleric -- and a level 6 warrior leading the way. 3 broodmother spiders that instantly impregnate you with no way to resist it. Whole squad incubating by the end of the fight. Then a trio of bunnies. Couldn't hit them for several unless my mage used her armour piecing magic bolt that did scratch damage. Even then the bunny bitches kept healing and dodging. Then the spiders hatched, survived with one hp thanks to dodging, then grew up into another broodmother. That fight lasted 30 rounds. Somehow I didn't loose any of my party yet. A few soothing pots later and my team was fresh. Then the growing slime showed up with more fucking broodmothers. So for 40+ rounds I was juggling healing my party and dealing damage to these idiots, accidentally killing a spider which caused my team to hatch another impossible to hit hatchling which grew up into Another. Literal. Mother. Fucking. Broodmother. I had to retreat after my team's gear started breaking and my warrior went from full to kidnapped in 2 attacks.

Oh yeah, and the abandon button didn't do anything, so I had to go and rescue the mind-broken puppy girls just to dismiss them. Please tell me the whole game isn't like this.

The game isn't always like this, but the start is usually pretty rough. Make sure you use AOE and featherduster to get rid of those dodge tokens. If you are going over 40+ rounds, maybe add a paladin to your team for better DPS.

do you know that for those that you need a last hit, magic missile from your mage, may not be strong but bypasses those defensive tokens, can also buff with your cleric to the mage to one hit kill all those spawning broodlings

I was spamming feather duster. The bunnies would just back hop to regain their buffs before anyone could take advantage of their weakness. Funny you mention the paladin since I have one that I've been using as a secondary healer. I'll need to try the "amen and attack" strategy.

Yes I did know about that. In fact that's how I got hatchlings that survived with 1 hp.

Edit: Wait...

or those that you need a last hit,..
How did I miss that part?
