I completely agree with your two main points. That the blackmailer hasn't really tried to hurt Ashe so far, and that Delilah is helping them. I'm not convinced that Ms. X and the blackmailer are the same person. They could be, but the evidence seems to equally point to a new player. As you point out, most of the blackmailer tasks have been rather benign for a blackmailer. Secretly drugging a party with a crazy new street aphrodisiac is a big step up in potential harm and chaos. Doesn't feel the same.

Ngl I'd feel a lot better about some of the stuff happening to Ashe in recent updates if it turns out to be something along those lines instead of the much darker alternatives. Also, while still anxiously waiting for Delilah's route to actually kick off (especially on the Kitten path) I'm definitely part of the crowd who agrees that she looks more likely to be involved in the blackmail shenanigans in some way or fashion than not...so...yeah, what you write would make me happy indirectly since it'd mean there is absolutely no ill intent on her side of things.
It seems far more probable that Delilah is trying to help in a weird way, rather than her being a secret psychopath yandere mastermind type. I had honestly hoped it was Delilah and it would have been revealed this update to end that plotline, but hopefully now that Ms. X has been introduced, Morrigan can end the blackmail plot and follow the Ms. X one further.
