It seems far more probable that Delilah is trying to help in a weird way, rather than her being a secret psychopath yandere mastermind type. I had honestly hoped it was Delilah and it would have been revealed this update to end that plotline, but hopefully now that Ms. X has been introduced, Morrigan can end the blackmail plot and follow the Ms. X one further.
I feel inclined to agree, though in all fairness Himiko Toga from MHA doesn't cut people up with any ill intention behind it either, so depending on how far gone Delilah is supposed to be I wouldn't say it's completely outlandish should she have enough screws loose to do messed up shit due to a severely warped and unhinged perspective on how to express her affection & make Ashe react to her advances.
Wouldn't exactly love it but I also wouldn't complain about it unless, by the point of that being revealed, it feels completely out of character.

There are only two options I can realistically think of, and i honestly do not know what it's going to be

First guess is Delilah, obviously she knows, she lied about how she knew and it was hinted that she can be a bit crazy. That being said...it just doesn't feel right? She just does not seem like she would call her a 'slut' and threaten her so heavily. But it is realistic to assume she saw the MC having sex and saw her extra bits. So it's possible but I just feel like Delilah hasn't been set up as doing something like this. It feels more likely that it's a red herring, she probably found out on her own when the MC lost her virginity (or maybe earlier if they've had sleep overs before) and on the bus she just tried to comfort the MC in an awkward way.

The other option that I think(maybe?) seems more possible that the blackmailer is Moira, my main thought here is that the blackmailing started after that dinner, she is basically the only person who would have any possible access to medical files (which was mentioned as one of the possibilities) and she has something to 'lose'. Maybe she is worried if her daughter is caught being with her it would ruin her campaign or something. She is also a very dom type so it seem not outside of her personality, she would also eyes on Vanessa all the time.

But honestly I really don't know where it's going to go

I don't think Moira makes sense. Too many games being played when she strikes me as the sort to just eliminate threats. Like Spike and Ashe comment on how Elysium is getting cracked down on harder and that strikes me as something Moira had a hand in. Not this blackmail games sort of nonsense.

Moira has the resources, but the reason to choose that method isn't there in any way I can see. And if she does have a motive to keep Ashe and Vanessa separated, there must be easier and better levers to use than using blackmail to push Ashe to be more sexually confident.

I honestly don't even disagree with you, she has the most ability to do it but it just doesn't really make sense to me unless there is some reveal about her coming or something. Based on everything we know it just doesn't really follow I agree. Delilah just seems equally weird to me, it just doesn't seem like she would blackmail Ashe, and then tell Ashe that she knows, Delilah probably isn't the most cunning person ever but she seems more sweet but misunderstood then blackmail you type

Based on the final scene of the update and what we know, it wouldn't be surprising if it was someone we hadn't been introduced to yet but that would be a little disappointing that it couldn't be 'guessed'

Well I finally played the update , from the initial reaction I thought the update was gonna be alot worst than it was for me to be honest. I honestly had no issue with the Siren content since for the most part Ashe was able to act more bold. I thought the Fiona scene most people had issue with kind of did make sense however I can understand the dislike of it too. There should of been an option even if you were on her path cause to me it did feel a bit off not having a choice there even tho I would of said yes anyways.

The only things I disliked was the blackmail content I want that to be done and over with as soon as possible. It almost ruined the Vanessa date who is my favorite character in this game. I'm actually happy they didn't have sex because of the blackmailer stuff would of been hard to enjoy it or like it.

Then the talk with Fiona, I understand Ashe not wanting to get Fiona involved with the blackmail storyline because she doesn't want the blackmailer to find out. As well she might not want to throw Delilah under the bus even tho we found out she is 100% lying now. But I really wish we had a choice if we wanted to keep quiet about the blackmailer or Delliah. It was the one thing that was annoying for me as I wanted to tell Fiona everything the entire time but the choice was made for me.

I understand that would mean more work and branching for the dev but fuck would of been real nice to have the choice there. Especially because on my Siren Playthrough I been saying fuck you to the blackmailer and not doing what they been asking us to do. So to me it would of made sense to tell Fiona everything on that save.

Overall Id say it was a solid update if it wasn't for the blackmailer nearly ruining the date with my favorite character, I would of said this would of been my favorite update. But id say I like the last one slighty more.

I basically agree with almost everything, specially that the blackmail plot is becoming unnerving, hope it doesn't extend for too long. It was a good update but felt short maybe because I mostly played the Siren route, skipped same dialogues than in Siren and only read specifically the ones for Kitten. The Cuckquean route I put skip unseen and skipped all the way thru lol. Maybe it was why it felt short, not so much if I had the same interest in all the 3 routes hehe Siren all the way and the most defiance I can be against the blackmailer and people around trying to make "me" a sub .

yeah I kind of did the same skipped through the cuckqueen just to see what scenes it was even tho I have no interest while only read the dialogue difference in the Kitten path which is another path I don't have alot of interest in but enough that I won't skip anything tho I did skip the lewd scene with the cop as I don't like her.

At this point I just want to see what is driving Delilah's actions. If she's being blackmailed aswell then fair enough, but if she's either doing the blackmail or aiding someone else out of some sort of fucked up affection then hot damn that character is dead to me.
Even the most naive of people should have the base rationality to realize that forcing someone is never a good idea.

honestly I always had a gut feeling Delilah is somehow being blackmailed to do the blackmailing on Ashe but not sure how believable that is unless she has some dark secrets or something

Well, as you said, if she's being blackmailed then what on earth could she be blackmailed with? She isn't really someone who interacts with a lot of people and she seemingly don't really go out much besides school or work, so there can't possibly be that much actual stuff that she can be blackmailed with, which is mostly why I'm interested to see the answer to that.

If it turns out that Delulu is blackmailing her either of her own accord or aiding someone due to an obsession/affection, then Ashe truly only has one person in her life that can be trusted, which is a pretty sad existence and just another L for her to take.

On another note, what if Delilah recruited someone to help her with the blackmailing? We kind of already know that she isn't exactly the most stable person, and depending on how skewed her perception is, I can see that happening.

yeah I kind of thought the same if she recruited someone in the past or if she has been the one to be recruited.

Never thought about how many people Ashe has in her Life she can trust for me that is 3 people. Her mom , Fiona and Rachael ( I know you have your issues with her , I don't share them so I trust her)

Might also be some sort of fucked up "knight in shining armour" thing she's trying to do if she did recruit someone, which would also explain why Delilah blurted out that she knew that Ashe was a duplo - in a sort of display of 'hey, you can trust me, I can help you'. Given how Delilah seems to romanticize things and naivety, it certainly isn't impossible.

I'm simply looking at it from Ashe's point of view and how she's been portrayed, her mom can be trusted but Ashe doesn't come off as someone who's able to trust her mom enough to talk about the things she needs to talk about. Likewise, Rachel would also be very difficult to trust with anything more than superficial things given their history, even if the relationship is "mended", it takes years to rebuild trust enough for someone as anxiety-filled as Ashe to let someone close to her again.
That basically leaves Fiona, and even though Ashe and her doesn't seem to have had many deep conversations, the fact that she decided to confide in Fiona that she was a duplo, Fiona seems to be the only current character that Ashe would be able to trust unconditionally.

ah I see yeah if you look at it from her point of view which is something that is hard for me to do. Tho I will say even tho she trust Fiona I don't think she trust her fully either but more than the rest for sure. Just because how she is keeping the blackmail and not telling her the truth about Delilah knowing her secret. Might be just me be but if Fiona was someone I completely trusted liked that I would of told her everything right away consequences be dammed.

Oh yeah, Ashe definitely doesn't trust Fiona with everything, just that she is the most trustworthy out of all the characters right now. Ashe likely also doesn't want to overly involved Fiona into something where she can get hurt most likely, probably partially because Fiona is her best friend but also because she is as said likely the only person Ashe can trust with more precious secrets.

OMG.

I think I made a wise decision to leave the thread until the chapter drops and being played by me. Finding out that the thread really exploded so after finishing I have to fight myself through an amazing amount of messages posted here. Some good critics an some not so good. Fortunately to see this thread not getting toxic. Everybody can have an opinion and can be discussed. There were some postings about the update being shit I ignore. Those people better go back to Disney channel.

I was even surprised that Scrappy made a mod for the game. For people interested look here and maybe something for the OP.

About chapter five. I played all three paths and I enjoyed red and blue most. Green had an amazing scene with Fiona, but for me a totally NOGO with the fact that Rachel made another $150 with shit cop. I never ever saw that one "cumming".

The blackmail matter became stronger. I put my money on Vanessa now being suspect number one for me. The small meeting with Delilah convinced me more. By the way, in office suit she looked amazing and I was thinking about 250 possible things I could do to her...... She is hot.

I am ending that I still love the game so far. But to be honest when I compare this game with HAHT that game favours just more.

At last, cliffhangers MUST be forbidden in any game from now on. They make the wait for the next chapter so much longer!!

Just curious what makes you think it might be Vanessa. She is honestly one of the few people I don't think I suspect or see any possible red flags for.
