Which proves it's a matter of taste. I don't like Fiona (I mean her looks, not her personality) and I prefer Zoey by far. But I agree that it would be fine if players had a choice.
I feel like this data would be much more interesting accompanied by route-split data ("which route is your 'main' one?", "did you only play one route? Which ones did you play?", etc), but can still try to read some stuff from it.
Fiona has a lot of potential biases favoring her (present in all routes, one of the most developed LIs, got multiple scenes AND a full penetration one), but those are still some pretty dominant numbers.
Bit of an interesting showing here, I'd say all 3 of those characters have a similar level of importance to the story so far, and both the CQ and Kitten routes get access to the same high-quality version of Fiona's scene, so what gives the edge for the Stella+Evelyn scene over Natasha's?
A possible interpretation would be that there are more CQ players than Kitten players, but I think the more likely scenario is that more Kitten route players flocked over to Fiona's scene over Natasha's, while more CQ route players stayed more "loyal" to the cuck fetish and stuck with Stella's scene, since Fiona's scene even in the CQ route only contains faint elements of NTR teasing.
While there are other possible explanations, such as the fact Natalia hasn't had a full penetration scene yet, it seems that at the moment she's losing in popularity to Fiona, potentially indicating that Kitten route players are generally preferring Fiona's more romantic content over Natasha's rapecop routine.
I think here are where lies most of the siren route votes. Outside of those 2 the only other scene where Ashe gets to top (penetrate) is with Kate (more on her in a bit), but I think this might be an indication that Lexi is struggling to be the "flagship" character of the Siren route since she's the only route-exclusive chapter 5 scene that failed to beat an earlier scene, even with the advantage of recency bias.
Both scenes feature full penetration, although the differences in genitalia might have been a big factor in the split. But still, Lexi's lack of presence and importance in the story so far are probably also factors for her reduced popularity.
Oof, Kate really not hitting big numbers, dressing room sex was the 2nd scene ever that had Ashe topping (penetrating), had a creampie, and the only route so far that is aiming for netori fetish, and it still only pulled decent numbers. Under the table was largely forgotten, probably due to its lack of penetration and overshadowed by the more interesting scenes of chapter 5.
Kate is very much a side-character, so I don't think it is a problem for her scenes to be mostly sleepers, but the plot of she cheating on her wife with Ashe is potentially nuclear to the story, but given how seemingly unpopular she is, I kinda hope it quietly fizzles out without too much issue coming from it.

Kate's currently one of the least interesting LIs in the game for me, but I really hope Morrigan doesn't alter planned storylines based on current character popularity. LI popularity can always ebb and flow with changes in the story, and the tension and drama with her wife could easily push up the quality of her character and scenes. Always better when a dev has a vision and pursues it rather than trying to capture mass appeal.
Agree like with the paths, what morrigan is doing right now is very good. Morrigan has already given out the map of what characters will be on each path and is given out content for all three path instead of doing one by one at he/her own pace.last update even tho some people have said the siren path felt like it had less content compared to the others i feel like morrigan is one of the dev who quietly listens to the fans if they are respectful and Loud enough and apply the feedback to the game. Like people where asking for hints to help the players and look what happened morrigan put hints in the game for us.
My point is that I hope it was intentional for Kate to not be a fan-favourite (and so her lack of popularity won't conflict with planned story beats). It sucks when an author ties critical story elements to a character that didn't really land with the audience.
I really don't think that's the case with Kate considering her relationship is fully optional, so again I'm hopeful this was already expected and she was always planned to be a side-character mostly there to pad the game with raunchy content early on while developing the main LIs, and that quietly resolving the cheating plot was always the plan rather than a pivot.

I do sympathise with both sides on this one. Forced scenes are, in general, bad practice. But, Ashe needed to lose her virginity as a canon story event, and having the other participant not be locked in would be a nightmare to code and account for.

100% agree. Starting the game with a dozen branching choices for Ashe virginity would be a mess for a indie developer.
Plus this poll goes to show the huge difference between people here and on discord.
Honestly, I can see why Fiona is so popular. Certainly more than I can see why the Kitten/CQ routes are polling the way they are in that poll. She's a very safe and natural LI for Ashe and not even in a boring way. It's too early for me to decide who is best girl but if she gets scenes where she bottoms for Siren Ashe, I'd be very tempted to nominate her. As it stands though, Rachel and Vanessa have more potential in how pursuing them can push Ashe out of her shell.

Disagree. They are time consuming and unless the developer knows what they are doing and has a really potent CPU and videocard (with lots of VRAM) the result wouldn't be very good. The 1-2 seconds loop that most games with the animation tag uses serves as evidence of that.

I also disagree. The cycle time will be longer. There are three branches now. And it take Morrigan much more cycletime than whitout animations.

She's had at least 3 opportunists to learn Ashe is a Duplo, 1 when she first frisked her, 1 at the gym (we see her in her towel going into the showers while Ashe is still there), and 1 of her being a cop AND already a freaky stalker, she could have falsified something to get her medical records.
While I doubt Siri gave her Ashe's phone number, she probably told her that Ashe was looking for her, and not a few minutes later Ashe gets the 2nd text from the Blackmailer. Plus this would explain why she had Ashe's number when she texted her that night, from another unlisted number.
And her BEING a cop means she could get almost any private info about Ashe she wants. Even more so now that she caught Ashe and Rachial with drugs AFTER there was a major anti drug law past.
I'll see if in Ch 5 if anything disproves this, but that's my theory.

One other thing is that the cop takes Ashe's panties that she forgets behind after their first meeting in the gym, and then it is never mentioned again.
If it isn't just a little detail the dev forgot then it is a pretty massive Chekov's Gun.
IF the story goes the route that she lied to get Ashe's medical records, then stealing her panties could have given her the idea to look into it.
