Can relate, I have been having cluster migraines since I was 19, its literally the worst, period, the longest I've had a migraine episode lasted a week, a fkin' whole week.
The only thing I wanted when having such episodes is to flatline myself, everything is pain, pure and direct pain: breathing? the nerves on my nose feel like someone pushing hot needles on my brain, light of any kind? a soaring pain behind my eyes, noise? feels like someone is hammering my brain like it owes them money, make any movement? the base of the head feels like someone is pulling the nerves out, while giving you electroshocks, heartbeat? nice, even the flow of blood is painful, thinking? nope, your neurons are having a blast smacking each other with baseball bats covered in barbed wire.
Then comes the aftermath, everything feels off, like you're out of sync with your body, your thinking is like moving through molasses, and your reaction time is off, feels like you're hungover, but without a lot of the headaches, I wouldn't wish even my enemies to have to suffer something like that.
Ah, I forgot to mention, thanks to that I developed tinnitus... yep, wasn't enough having absurdly painful migraines, had to have the trinity: cluster migraines, tinnitus and sciatic nerve problems (apparently is an hereditary trait... such is life)
