I agree, I actually do like femdom but I feel like every game just assumes that femdom means "woman treats you as her slave" and doesn't have an actually interesting relationship dynamic or character elements to explore. Also not a fan of the trope of having the protag be unwilling on the surface, but immediately being willing the second the domme does something even remotely sexual, hard to explain but you know the types of scenes I'm talking about.
Protag: "I have to fight you, I will stop at nothing to defeat you."
Domme: "Yes, but maybe you want to sniff my feet first...?"
Protag: "Ugh, I hate it and don't want to, but I absolutely will do so, without any hesitation or player input."
It just isn't engaging and takes me out of the story, especially since half the time it's things I'm not even interested in. I'd like it a lot more if games either had actually story development to have the protag slowly become more willing to submit, or better yet have an actual corruption mechanic in place where losing/submitting has the protag slowly become more turned on when the domme is doing sexual things, rather than just having them inexplicably submit the first time they're asked to do something.
