Is it normal when you grab or get an item (only story-related items, not like bullets) it takes like 10 to 20 seconds when the animation slows? Because I feel it like an eternity.... and it keeps taking me out of the game.... I'm using windows 11

I have to wait about 4 or 5 minutes for it to come up on the screen using AMD Ryzen 5950x, 3080ti and 16GB ram
I think the latest update must just be badly optimized or something

The armory doesn't seem to be selling lockpicks in the current update, has the location for buying them been moved?
Where can we get them? :unsure:

Just like seval people asked already, does anyone know where do we obtain the lockpick so we can enter houses in the first level and progress the main story to unlock stage 2? It feels a bit strange they do not provide you one or guide you to where to get it first before entering the first level being the neighborhood.

I had the exact same problem. Turns out that you have to get through the parking garage first. Once you get to the 4th floor and beat the boss battle, you're taken back to the shelter. When you have control again, go to the armory and you'll find the lockpicks available for purchase.

Update: I've added 4 maps that another player was kind enough to upload a while back. They can be found in earlier pages of this forum, but I thought I'd add them here for convenience. It is not 100% accurate regarding every street/house/room location shown; however, it is accurate as far as getting you through each location to the next in order to advance the story.

  • Added the skill tree;
  • Added a new H event in the Gallery Mode (Special Mode On);
  • Added the after story of Saito the old;
  • Most stories and events are skippable in the current version;
  • Obtain money automatically after defeating bosses;
  • Fixed a bug that when the game ran in Fullscreen mode, it switched to Window Mode after player went to other scenes;
  • Fixed a bug that the player camera was disabled in some scenarios;
  • Fixed a bug that in some dialogues the character's portrait wasn't displayed properly;
  • Fixed a bug that the refresh rate of money was slow;
