Hi everyone,

I told you I didn't want to give constant updates on my family's health status, but I do owe you a 'conclusion' I think, and I'm happy to post it now.

Both of my parents were positive. One of them ended up in a hospital for a bit over a week. Not on a ventilator, but in need of monitoring. They are both back home now. Still under quarantine for at least two weeks, but everything seems to have turned out alright.

Recent development has been fairly challenging to be honest. I tried working like normal since I couldn't visit or do anything anyway, but it was only semi productive. Just wasn't the ideal headspace to be creative, so I worked a lot on future locations and other things that didn't require much porn mood thinking.

I'm working to get back into a good development flow now. I'll keep you posted.

All the best,
Henissart

Me: "I had hoped this game would be femdom only. That's what I like. There are so many maledom games out there already."

Them: "Don't you want more choice?"

Me: "So can we then add more femdom to existing games? More choices, right?"

Them: "Go away. REEEE."

Well, I'm not the biggest fan of femdom, but the EXCELLENT writing of the dev here and the high-quality visuals had me hooked throughout. That's really something I have to say. Well fucking done.

I have choices and I can work out how to solve these puzzles for myself if I don't like all the femdom, and see if I can turn the tables. There were surprises at every turn and I even surprised myself.

I would say that this is one of the best games I've ever played and I support the author's excellent work.

It's not often that a porn game surprises you so much that you surprise yourself, but this is top-notch work.

I was surprised to read all the fucking whinging here. This is good shit, people.

Stop acting like entitled douches and give it up for someone working this genre as well as it can be done.

hey some news about an update?
Only that this developer tends to take their time to create a quality product in general... So even at the best of times, the next update would likely not be announced until early next month anyway.

However, these aren't the best of time and the developer has had close family contracted Covid-19, and I can only imagine how stressful that would be. I'd have to guess another 2 to 3 weeks can be added on to his usual 2 month turnaround. Accordingly, I think you'd probably be looking at around early June or latest May for the next update.

He's also apparently said he's going to stick to only updating the paying customers. That is despite his pretty active participation in this thread early on. Primarily he was concerned that whilst there was a lot of interest here, that interest wasn't turning into active supporters. I can't really fault the logic of not wanting to spend time answering question after question from people who ultimately aren't paying the bills. It's lost time for very little reward. (It's already been talked to death, let's focus on the game eh?). The game is already substantive enough to let people know if they'd want to actively support what he's doing or not - engaging with the peanut gallery would likely only mean more delays.

My point being that if you want the latest version of the game... keep checking here. But if you want the latest news about where the game is up to, you probably need to check out the or pages. (Where there were updates 3 days ago, 4 days ago, 6 days ago.. etc. etc.).

I support a number of games on Patreon, and I do not care one bit about any of the Patron rewards. I support each dev with what I can afford based on how much I like the game, how much I think the dev needs funding (I am more likely to support small devs than ones earning 3-5K/month), and how active they are here. I don't care about special renders, polls, etc., etc. I do like to see updates by the dev on the progress, but I am not going to pledge or not based on that. For me at least, leaking news, special renders, and releases, have nothing to do with whether or not I subscribe or how much I give per month. I think the devs that are active here, joke around with the fans and seem to like talking about their game, take constructive feedback (not necessarily changing anything, just listening), answer questions about how the development is going, and just seem like they care about the game and the fans, get my support much more than prickly devs who complain about their users and their fans.

Henissart has already said that he thinks this will be his last game because he hates leaks from his Patreon. That is too bad. I for one would never have heard of his game, his Patreon, or nearly any of the other games here if not for this site. Henissart has real skill, vision, and a gift with story and dialog. However, when you add up all the hardware resources and labor time, very few devs make even minimum wage doing this, so they have to do it because they love telling stories, want to share it with the community, and are happy to get a little extra money to encourage them to keep going. If you are doing it mainly for the money and get annoyed by fans sharing your renders or news status and can't take the occasional critical troll with a grain of salt, you should probably just make the game for yourself and your friends, and don't bother starting a Patreon. It's not worth the aggravation if you don't enjoy the process, interacting with the fans, and are stressing out about every inevitable leak from your Patreon. Almost no devs here are going to be the next ICSTOR, DarkCookie, or Dr.PinkCake, so you have to do it because you enjoy it, are happy the more people that play your game whether they pay you monthly or not, and are satisfied when a few hundred or so willingly support you with their own money.

I hate patreon, don't know why (their hypocrisy, maybe?), i think suscribestar is nicer. It's good that creator can also affiliate with subscribestar, because now, i can support them. (i swear i don't work for suscribestar)

A preview image - Vol. 25
Dude you really taking a risk here with this "leaked" post from patron...
Just to clarify the point, the dev has previously cancelled at least one person's Patreon pledges in order to avoid them re-posting Patreon only news here. If there is anything to obviously connect your Patreon ID to your F95 ID (like similar/identical names)... this too could be you. And whilst he hasn't logged into this site in quite a while using his developer account, there's nothing stopping him using a 2nd account or viewing the thread without logging in.

I believe he's also stated that such re-posting has ruined his mood to the point where he actually thinks he's unlikely to develop further games after E-D.

I personally don't subscribe the to the "piracy is a lost sale" fallacy. The people who pay nothing were unlikely to pay anything anyway (which doesn't mean "none"). But where he may have a point is that there's little incentive to subscribe to higher tiers, when those people who pay nothing get to see information BEFORE those higher tier Patreons (honestly, I don't know how he's got his tiers organized).

You're a grown adult (probably). You'll make your own decisions... but clearly this developer is more concerned than most about this sort of action. Personally, I'd love to see a 2nd game by a developer of this caliber - and maybe his mind is made up. But if not seeing these sort of updates meant a higher possibility of a 2nd game, I know where my choices would lead me.

My pledge was not "cancelled". It was REMOVED. As in NO REFUND. Patreon was gracious enough to tell they would still take my money if I wished to support anything else.
Fair enough, I wasn't aware of any distinction between "cancelled" and "removed". But now I re-read it, I see what you mean.

The dev has been all over the map as to why he thinks this will be his last project.
And I can only hope he changes his mind again.

Honestly, femdom isn't really my thing - but I have enjoyed this game for it's writing and it's renders. I too am not a paying customer, so I haven't seen the "all over the map" behavior first hand. I offered some technical advice privately early on as a way of balancing the scales of not having enough disposable income to pledge anything - so I feel invested enough to want the guy to continue to write games. We all have our own motivations and are all free to make our own choices. My choice was to try to encourage less Patreon re-posting in the hope that the dev continues to write quality game after this one. A slim hope I know and perhaps a pointless one - but hey-ho.

The poster of the last 2 patron-only images is not a patron of ED.
The dev has been all over the map as to why he thinks this will be his last project. "Those evil leakers" is just the latest narrative.
Man shut the f. up finally. I might understand your disappointment, or might not. You presented it once, twice, ... it's enough already.
If you like the game stay around and talk about the game. If the developer's behavior irritated you leave the whole thread, devote your time to other creators.

Well i like the dom route the most so far, so do a lot of other people.

"The dom path can only be a trap. Unless the MC can somehow dominate a Mistress, which would be a game-breaker for many supporters, at best he can only dominate Heather or Anja."

Why the hell can he only dominate Heather or Anja? In case you didn't pay attention, there is a lot of tension and conflict going on between the Sterns. I also believe the dominant route will not lead to the typical "dominant end" where the mc "rules/control" the mistresses. But he will probably be used as a "dominant" tool by one or more of the mistresses to put pressure on the others. Don't forget the mistresses are still humans and have weaknesses too.
Isabella appears to be very insecure. She is constantly trying to get respect from her mother and sister. She is also afraid of hard dicks.
Mrs stern is unsure of her age and appears to be sexually dissatisfied.
Elisabeth does not seem to have any weaknesses yet.

So far, Henissart has done an excellent job creating 3 different routes, all of which are credible.

Every route feels distinct and have, in my opinion, the following themes:

Sub route: You are a beta bitch and you will get abused by pretty much everyone.
Neutral route: You are trying to survive and help Anja and Heather the best you can.
Dom route: You are trying to survive but also to get something out of it for yourself. You enter the inner battle/conflict between the sterns. You are also trying to get, at least a little bit, respect from the mistresses.
I would like to refer you to the dev's quote on the dom route here...

Really answering this would be a straight up spoiler. But you've already experienced that she can be physically intimidated, especially when she's alone with the MC, he has noticed it, and he's obviously not above using this to his advantage. So make of that what you will.
It does seem like the mc will be able to use Isabella for a variety of things. If she is submissive around him and he can capitalize on it, It may be possible for him to indeed move up in the world by maybe starting a relationship with her.
