I agree, I really want a villain that is just downright evil without any sad story that is meant to make us feel sorry for them. Such a villain makes confronting them way more fun.
really good the game, the story is very interesting, I love the reation of all the girls but I like more change between the real life and virtual life
And that's why I encourage people to support him if they can. He's one of the great role models for devs out here.
For sure Eternum is great, but for some reason the characters of OIALT are something special for me. The easy going of the game is so nice that makes it very easy to replay it and still enjoy it.Untouchable .. This game is without the doubt The Best game in the site. played OILT too and this game is a lot better than that masterpiece .. Models are all lovely and story is amazing .. Humor is great too

While I do understand your point, because I don't like "easy girls" as well, the characters strong personality along with the easy-going of the game is what makes it enjoyable.
Many people hate bimbos without 0 personality, and the game wouldn't feel good if they were like that. Imo the easy-going of the game is supported by it's strong cast. Take a look on OIALT, Stabby Mike went from a "random character" to basicly everyone's aniki. Also Carla, I usually prefer the sisters over the mom, yet I and many others believe she's one of the best milfs out there in terms of balance between looks and personality.
I don't know how Caribdis does it, but all characters in general are extremely memorable, yet at the same feel "natural". And that's extremely unusual to happen on a porn game with so many characters. That's why people like the game to be as easy going, because it's mainly focused on the characters personality.
I really believe people wouldn't like OIALT as much (and Eternum at some extent, althought it has a more specific theme) if the characters development weren't as good as it is. Even on Eternum people keep asking for references of OIALT, I guess that shows how likeable the engagement was with the characters and story was.

Patrons get a sneak peek today. However the dev is still pretty transparent about his progress updates but if you want some image previews it won't hurt to throw in a few pounds to support the dev

Would post em but I dont know the rules surrounding it, if Caribdis would hate me, and this is one of the handful of devs I would say tossing a coin to is genuinely worth it.

See... that's what I like about Caribdis; new episodes follow the progress bars and are released on "acceptable" delays.
One can only have the upmost respect for this developer.

Honestly I lowkey hate Caribdis for ruining every other game on this site for me. I'm always subconsciously comparing them to Eternum/OIAL and it's bumming me out

it's actually quite funny to see some of the discussions about how the story might be progressing a bit too quickly in this game, as if we're comparing it to genuine studio-backed games, when 95% of the other games on this site struggle to spell the word "pacing", let alone have an interesting story with unique charactersHonestly I lowkey hate Caribdis for ruining every other game on this site for me. I think what I have a problem with stories progressing too quickly is that a lot of potential that could have gone to make the story interesting for longer has been wasted. On the other hand I also find a lot of the answers I am looking for much more quickly with stories that progress too fast.
For Eternum in particular I don't think it will be a rushed kind of story, it will be much bigger and will take years until the game is completed.

To be fair to other games on this site when comparing them to Eternum/OIAL. The "game" aspect of them is as simplistic as you could possibly get and still call it a game. The most complicated behind the scene's aspect of coding this thing is an if statement. Other games get slightly more complex.
I generally find the games that have the most reliable update schedules are more just VNs with images from 3D engines and less actually games.
Bravo for how reliable Caribdis is with his updates and how fun it is, but I think it's an unrealistic standard to use to compare to many games with some actual gameplay.

Fair, though the mystery server aspect definitely amped up the "gameplay" in Eternum. And it was fuckin' good, too.

Hey, that's not entirely fair. Most developers go to great lengths to let the MC's father die in the most creative way and have the MC move back in with his mother and sisters.
