Once in a Timeline, the other Caribdis game (finished), Ripples with time travels and a similar tone to Eternum, Pale Carnations if you want something more hardcore but with great characters and story (and recently updated), Summer's Gone if you want great characters, a different MC and a good story and don't care if the game doesn't have sex scenes, because the game is story-focused and slow burning and of course Being a Dik, the opera prima of the adult games, with two complete seasons (8 chapters) and another one or two in the future, great story, characters, music and MC, with a lot or replaying gameplay and routes (14 according to the creator).

I'm pretty sure the others can tell you more or better games, but this 5 are my recommendations. Sadly Nova is exclusive of Eternum, so if you just want to replay Nova's scenes again and again we, the council of Nova fans understand your desires, my friend.

i used to ignore incomplete games but after Pale Carnations and Being a DIK i stopped doing that, i just hate starting too soon.

You gave him very good recommendations. But it's a shame you forgot Chasing Sunsets, Leap of Faith, University of Problems, _Artemis and the most underrated game here One Day at a Time. Eternum is clearly on his way in this league of the top AVN. Weird but good story, nice humor and the characters... hell... NOVA! Caribdis done a really good job so far and I have no doubts he continues this level of work. He did it with Once in a Lifetime and I'm sure he's doing it again.

It had a tough part but it was good. Cece and Lexi are legends, that's for sure. If you want to play a really depressing game you should play Acting Lessons from DrPinkCake. Hell, that really fucked me up. I'm happy there are games like Eternum which delivers more fun and Nova could reach the Olymp of Cece and Lexi one day. She's on the right way.

About Acting Lessons, I've only played it when it was completed, but to those who did when it was a WIP, it was truly a shock for them when they reached a certain mind shattering event. Can't wait see what's in store for Nova in future updates, maybe someone will call her Mrs. Sharp IRL (reference to the heist in the New Vegas server).

Acting lessons was cheap writing the whole house fire situation was stupid - I think it was badly written and poorly executed. If you want good emotional games many japanese nakiges are significantly better - go to vndb, add the nakige tag and sort by rating try the high rated ones they are really good.

I think all other scenes are spot-on.

Dalia went from nothing to surprised she kissed MC to a BJ in an hour, it felt very rushed.

Nancy was rushed on the MC side, because we knew what was going on in Nancy's head, but for MC it was out of nower
I'm assuming there's some future reveal that Delilah had an insane crush on the Mc, but it just isn't revealed

To answer though, it didn't feel rush to me since they made the bet like days before it happened, like it didn't come out of nowhere. It did feel a little pushy when Orion started mentionning during such an emotionnal moment, but then he just give up easily and Dalia is the one who says "let's do it". I mean MC help her numbers of times and make her feel good and confident in herself, that plus the bet makes it believable in my opinion.

That's probably the case, like Annie. Very often there's one or two girls like this in this kinda VNs. If there's already attraction/love in the past, it makes it easier for MC to get close to them to begin with since something is already there. I mean if she didn't find him attractive, she wouldn't even have accepted the bet to begin with I presume.

Oh I see what you mean. I guess that could be excused by all the confidence he gains with all that happens to him in Eternum. It's also an usual trope, the hero that gain more and more confidence as the story progress, with all the fights, the dangers etc. That plus the fact that she's clearly and heavily flirting, practically telling him to go for it.

As for Dalia and Penelope, I believe he does check with Dalia during the beach scene when she says let's do it, that's when she justify wanting to do it with the "you make me feel more confident" and all that nice stuff. As for Penelope there's only one scene really and it's the photoshoot where he actually is uncomfortable and not familiar and she's the one who insists on taking the photos.

I get what you mean though, Nancy could have been more "in control" with a more surprised and less jarring Orion, even if he doesn't reject her. The photoshoot with Penelope is a good comparison for what you're saying. Yeah, maybe he could have been more like this in the Nancy scene too.

It didn't bother me much though, as long as it can be justified with how the characters feel I'm fine with it. All the "good girls" with Annie bothered me more but I basically replaced them in my script . Talking about it because it seems like the same "symptom" of Orion become more and more dominant in the last two updates, even when it's a little pushy or unecessary.

This is probably the only criticism I have about this game. The MC never really thinks about a girl unless they have a scene together. He's written as the most caring and understanding guy, but while he's eating out Nancy he doesn't think twice about the fact that he asked out Annie the previous day?

And with the BJ scene with Alex, he only thinks about another girl afterwards when he says "imagine if I could get Dalia and Alex to do this together". Like, you just went on a date with Annie, did you forget about her? It comes off as fuckboy-ish when he's shown as a super caring and thoughtful guy, especially in scenes with Annie and Luna.

No it did not feel rushed at all. Not every game needs to progress at a snail's pace.

- If you feel like Nancy's part was rushed you can simply choose not to make a move on her - thats on you not on Nancy.
- Dalia's part also had sufficient build up to it - she is ok with you peeking in the shower, she did not mind the bj bet, you can see her blush when the MC does something nice for her etc
