I think that's just a part of her outfit and her power is innate. Either that or it's like a wedding ring and a symbol of something.

Waaaay too early at this point for that to happen, considering how much of a gigantic bombshell that would be to the story and lore as a whole. Not to mention it'll probably happen as a sort of cliffhanger for an update, possibly after something dramatic or climactic happens.
