Idriel and the founder are working against each other and probably have completely different goals because the praetorians guarded the gun and calypso and because idriel did not tell the founder that orion had the casino guy's gem of doom - the founder had to guess it but idriel knew instantly.

I also dont think the board of directors are a good guys - william is a dickhead.
Calypso, not the gun. Dione was already in Nova's possession prior to the Ogygia event.
Nova said it was guarded by Pretorians before she got it, if I remember correctly.
When they go to find Calypso, I'm pretty sure she said that "she heard rumors" that the other two weapons were guarded by pretorians, but that was before we learn she has one so looking back she would actually know if they had been heavily guarded or not. But again, I've slept since then, so I might be misremembering.
/replays from his Ogygia save real quick

...

...Aight, I stand corrected then.

Is there anything else on this site anywhere close to Eternum in terms of quality right now? The only games I can think of are Being a DIK and Artemis and while they're both solid neither of them are this good.

It's liable to be a long couple of months.
I've seen others mention Ripples, Pale Carnations, I'd also recommend Mist, its not Honey Select, but custom stylized models that are pretty good and has an interesting story. Of course Once in a Lifetime doesn't even need to be mentioned, but might as well. It looks older but still very good quality and story by Caribdis.

Would also recommend Projeckt: Passion, Oppai Oddysey, and Desire of Fate. It's hard to beat everything Eternum has but these games all share similar traits in different aspects.

Something a bit more serious but high quality would be Desert Stalkers, very different from Eternum but good story, characters and worldbuilding.

this game is f-ing awesome!
I even started taking notes on a text file. i haven't done that even for regular rpg games. i write things that mc finds and some assumption for them, either suggested by the game or things i suspect. it's so intriguing...
the only gripe i have with the game is that i found it way too early.
the previous game - Once in a Livetime, i found after it was completed. so i played it for like a week or so when i had the time and i had a 'once in a livetime' blast... by the time i finished it, there was only one episode of Eternum... so now i have to play it in small chunks.

So im breaking one of my rules and replaying the game...

Weird hunch, but does anyone get the impression Orion may be a creation of Idriel?

The almost motherly interest she shows in his Eternum experiences, even Orion noting how anxious he is at her interest in his activities
The coin flip question at the party, with the correct answer betting on tails after 99 flips of heads...

Is this her 100th attempt at breaking free or the 100th iteration of Orion for the same goal?

I blame elsalamandra for this. I was just here for the laughs, casual interest in the narrative, and the potential of future lewds... Now I give a damn about the story

Look what you've made me do

Credits to Illusion for creating Honey Select 2, and a huge thanks to the community of modders, which is too big to list them all.
Well honey select models that most honey select game devs make are very unaapealing and I usually avoid them, but the dev here really managed to make it good. So yeah honey select models usually ruin the game and is pretty lazy way to make one with very few exceptions like a house in the rift, pale carnations this and his other game, still though it's better than genshin impact type of graphics

but it just doesn’t make sense, he gets paid for this game why would he open a thread and upload it himself?
For a lot of reasons.
First of all, advertising, more people playing, talking and just knowing your game mean more potential subscribers.
Secondly, because mods and fan translations means more people playing, talking and just knowing the game, so again, more potential subscribers.
And third and the most important thing, people who piracy a game usually don't buy a game, so he don't lose anything. Yeah, maybe a little percentage of people that are thinking about subscribe or buy the game in itch.io are gonna download the game here and not pay, but the percentage of people that look and play the game, love the characters and the story and ended supporting Caribdis or any other creators is always more. And you just need to see how every time he updates the game more and more people subscribe to his patreon, because there is not better publicity than a well-done game with hundreds of people congratulating Caribdis for it.

And my break is done, have a nice day people.
