Because I certainly did not notice a difference. But then again I do feel that the render quality goes down when there's nova h-scenes, and yet again nova is my least favorite character in terms of appearance (sans chibi nova)

Pardon my ignorance, but what's a "sans chibi nova" is that some sorta meta undertale reference that I don't get? Or is it some sort of discord emoji composed of Nova and Sans merged together or something?

I think it is strange, that nobody remarks, that Jerry constantly dies and returns in the game, while Benjamin died in game and dies outside of it too. I mean it is almost a running gag of Jerry dying, but still nobody remarks it ingame as is "well there are reports of people dying and recovering ingame later ". I think there is some plot hole, I am still not through the complete novel, still at college helloween, but yeah, who knows why Jerry is ignored while benjamin is a mystrerious case.

That's because Benjamin got excommunicated, banned from Eternum. "Normal" death in Eternum doesn't equal to death in the real world, but excommunication is a different case.

Benjamin was an in-game rapist that flouted the rules multiple times. It's suspected that because he was a raving douchebag and wouldn't act in accordance with the rules, someone associated with Eternum sent some sort of feedback through the neural implant (my take, at least) to cause him to stroke out in reality when the Praetorians killed and excommunicated him in game.

Jerry is just dying because he's playing poorly, not being killed deliberately by the enforcement wing of Eternum. It's rumored he's related to Kenny from Southpark.

99% of the people who die in game are fine in the "real world" ... Jerry is not a special case, that's why he's not commented on. As much fun as we have with it, Jerry is NOT Kenny.

So this would mean being on the fight for an atlas object like on the "restricted server" would be also lethal if killed by praetorians , I mean I kind of see your resoning as plausible. Being excommunicated means never ever can play again, drastic way. I bet william aurthorized it to hardening up Alex

Possibly not even then, depending upon who is behind it all. Benjamin was just an ass, close to the Bardot family and was likely found to be in need of "cleansing". It may have been Alex's dad, but - not knowing how far you have gotten - there is reason to believe that someone else may be behind it.
