Or just accept that there are some games on here which dont include Incest. And IMO, Incest is overused anyway and I think there is more than enough content in Eternum to satisfy people. And if someone REALLY needs a incest game, there are tons of other games which make those people happy.

I think it's valid people are pissed because there was incest content in the first game. So people naturally expect there to be in the 2nd game as well.

Just like how we had 3 somes in the first game, so people expect there to be in the 2nd game as well

First game was made at a time when Patreon enforcement on existing rules against incest content was lax so he was able to get away with the final scene. Now the guidelines have been updated to reflect a stricter policy and enforcement isn't as lax, so Cari decided to play safe regarding the threesome content with the Carters. I think Cari hurried a little one episode early to make MC more egoistic. One Episode later or 0.8 ending should have been right. Why not end the game in 0.10 ? Why 0.13 updates ??

Does anyone feels the same ?? May be Second Part of the game would have been wonderful.

So my argument to that is that since the first game had incest, it's reasonable to want that trend to carry over in the 2nd game.

Because he promised way back when Eternum was announced that it was going to be bigger and longer than OIAL's story. So long that the original scope was to be "between 12 and 20 updates." But apparently he probably thought that was too long, so he truncated it to 13.

I dont think that this is valid. Only because one game has a certain kink does not mean the next game should have the same kink(s). I mean, it is rare anyway that games like this get completed, but should a Dev be stuck in their way of doing things?

I mean, I could understand a fuss when Caribdis next game is suddenly a NTR-game, but not if something like incest is not included.

This certainly can be the case when it includes someone underage, a power imbalance, and/or a lack of consent. But I think you'll find a shortage of evidence supporting the harm you mention when it concerns consenting adults.

Regardless, I'd be very surprised if it ended up here given Patreon's policies and Cari's statements.

Yeah I would imagine that if there were no Patreon and/or Steam rules against it we'd have incest again, but with the current rules for Patreon that will have to be a mod if it happens. There's a reason so many games have the Landlady/Tennant thing in it. It's a stupid rule and easy to get around with a trivial find/replace mod. Presto, some modder added incest to my game. Nothing I can do about it...

It is Ren'Py, but it's not as easy as it looks when a project escalates. It's not really a robust programing framework for big projects, but it lets you do VNs pretty easily. The renders and animations are made in Honey Select. I think it's Honey Select 2, but I might be mistaken.

Efficiency has nothing to do with it. Cari just wants to take the time to come up with the best looking renders rather than just churn out updates and call it a day.

Also again, having an incest mod isn't gonna magically make the Carters viable for threesomes. No mod is gonna make Dalia x Penny threesome, Nan x Penny threesome, Nan x Dalia threesome, or Nan x Dalia x Penny foursome a reality unless said modder can produce renders/animations of the same caliber as Cari and Dread (Cari's animator) and somehow manage to find a way to insert that in the game without messing the story somehow.
