Patch is pointless if you can't have threesome or foursome scenes with the Carters due to Patreon rules (and because Cari already said no as I've posted above).

I mean, releasing the cards and playing around with them in the privacy of your rig is one thing. Making a mod out of them where you write whole new scenes plus make sure they match the quality of the source material is another beast entirely.
Or just accept that there are some games on here which dont include Incest. And IMO, Incest is overused anyway and I think there is more than enough content in Eternum to satisfy people. And if someone REALLY needs a incest game, there are tons of other games which make those people happy.

I think it's valid people are pissed because there was incest content in the first game. So people naturally expect there to be in the 2nd game as well.
First game was made at a time when Patreon enforcement on existing rules against incest content was lax so he was able to get away with the final scene. Now the guidelines have been updated to reflect a stricter policy and enforcement isn't as lax, so Cari decided to play safe regarding the threesome content with the Carters. Sad, but it is what it is.
Fr most "kinks" in Eternum are super vanillas. So having more depraved ones is ok for me. It's a game, it's good to have new things and not the same stuff we can find on litteraly every platform.

Because he promised way back when Eternum was announced that it was going to be bigger and longer than OIAL's story. So long that the original scope was to be "between 12 and 20 updates." But apparently he probably thought that was too long, so he truncated it to 13.
I dont think that this is valid. Only because one game has a certain kink does not mean the next game should have the same kink(s). I mean, it is rare anyway that games like this get completed, but should a Dev be stuck in their way of doing things?
TBH, Incest is one of the most Vanilla-Kinks you can find here, given how common it is.
This certainly can be the case when it includes someone underage, a power imbalance, and/or a lack of consent. But I think you'll find a shortage of evidence supporting the harm you mention when it concerns consenting adults.

Yeah I would imagine that if there were no Patreon and/or Steam rules against it we'd have incest again, but with the current rules for Patreon that will have to be a mod if it happens. There's a reason so many games have the Landlady/Tennant thing in it. It's a stupid rule and easy to get around with a trivial find/replace mod. Presto, some modder added incest to my game. Nothing I can do about it...
