I obviously don't know what Cari will do, but anyway you take it the resolution is likely to be a cop-out. Whether cheap or expensive (lol).

Gotta respect the amount of time you guys put into your theories, if what you said happened I think it could work, if well written, I mean... Carb could definitely pull it off, going back retaining your memories, kinda like Book 3 of Love of Magic, but instead of a different timeline just a restart in the time loop, it'd need a way to replay faster through all the events, since arriving by Train with Annie and Chang, or the game will become really massive, and what about all the built relationships with the characters, would that change too? Idk, all those complications might make this outcome difficult for the game.

I just finished playing 0.7 and:
1. Loved it overall.
2. I agree with some of the posts that the pacing of this update was very weird/rushed for no reason, but I am going to give Cari the benefit of the doubt and say that it was indeed a "filler" update and the story/pacing will make more sense when we play 0.8 together with this... or something like that. :copium:
3. I was a tiny bit disappointed we did not get much of any "pirate" content because that was the most teased and anticipated part of this update but oh well.
About his death at the end, I am going to make my own theory by combining a few of the others' I have read earlier and adding garnish on top: So, Calypso is meditating and senses Orion's impending demise (or that he is in grave danger) but, her ritual can not be interrupted, as she had said, so she speeds it up and finally finds her home world. But lo and behold, its Earth (our "real" not so real world / dimension). Just that she is from an ancient era on earth where magic / elves / blah blah were existing and she severely underestimated how long she had been in captivity. This could easily explain how she could enter our world because then she would not be an NPC in the first place and why she could not find her home world before. Now I know this clashes with her being "created by Idriel" but I am going to chalk that up to the very old theory that Idriel is Anima in some shape or form.
It also helps to explain Calypso's continued insistence that Alex has Elven blood, only super diluted + Luna "powers".
Also, from Idriel's words at the end implying that she can turn back time with her coin, we could explain our own visions and what I am calling "lost memories", for example that voice in our head saying not to trust The Founder, etc.

Thanks, it's been so long and I usually play everything from the beginning whenever there's a new update.
Not super happy about this update. The 'teasing her about panties' option leads to inappropriate - one could even say sexual harassment, or maybe even sexual assault - fingering. Being aroused is not the same as giving consent. I'm also not a fan of rushed sex, like that on the lambo, no matter how hot it is. I'd rather take my time and fuck for hours. Not that the scene wasn't excellent. But I'd rather have more time. Also, Nova shouldn't force you to cum inside her like that. I always cum inside, but it should be a choice. I know she's crazy, but still.
It also seems like the main plot is beginning to drag on. At one point I was thinking "great, ANOTHER gem of doom." The problem, I think, is the protagonist's superiority. It doesn't seem like there's much in Eternum that can pose any possible threat to him, so there's little drama in the hunts for the gems of doom.

what makes AVN different from porn is that its immersive so i can see logic behind it. i still agree with you that people are going too far to be sensitive about things but i dont blame anyone for putting real life values on visual novel
