Any recommendations for eternum like games? Ive played once in a lifetime after finishing eternum and it didn't disappoint me.. so anything with well written story?

Actually I don't much like VR stories, and was very reluctant with Eternum at first. And I still came to love the game. So it might be interesting even to people who don't usually like VR stories, like myself.

Yeah, same. Generally I feel like anything that uses VR or dreams or anything "make believe" puts up another layer for me that makes it even harder to get into a game. If it isn't even real for the character, it is even less "real" for me.

That's exactly how I feel about it, too. Fortunately, Eternum did manage to avoid that problem for me, though.

I´m having a little problem. There is this weird blinking that occurs when I move the cursor over the quick menus, between images and when changing the laptop´s volume. I bought this laptop just a few days ago and this problem I didn´t have it with the previous laptop. I´m asking this in this thread because is one of the first VNs I tried since buying it but it happens in all of the VNs. If someone knows how to fix it please tell me, thx.

Whatever this is set to, try setting it to something else:

Code:

Hold down Shift while starting Ren'Py, or press Shift+G once Ren'Py has started.
 From the "Graphics Acceleration" menu that appears, choose the renderer to use.

This person gave an amazing essay of the update which I agree with, but the only thing that really stuck with me was this line:

the last adventure we'll have is with our dear knight in shining armor who's abs are stranger than steel

I know that it must be a misspelling error but that shit just made me laugh

I'd say besides Once in a Lifetime, the work that's given me the closest "feel" to Eternum has been Ripples.
