So at this rate, when will the game be finished? I've been holding off but I'm considering starting now if it's soon

Apart from 0.8, the software theoretically has an update from 4-5 or 6 (if there is no interference or suddenly there will be different couple endings).

The game will not end on version 1.0, Only after 5 updates

Five more updates, one expected out next month, and 8-12 months for each of the next. At best, a little under three years.

Yeah three sounds about right, possibly four if the last update ends up being the biggest like it did for OIAL. Also I'm not sure how much time was lost with the music rights issue that delayed the current update, but possible the development could be cut down closer to 6-8 mo as that was hopefully a one-time thing.

Cari said 0.9 would be a big update and the following chapters will be shorter so maybe 6 months but there would be at least one or two big chapters before the ending
