So I kind of see where that's coming from.
I kind of see it too, but "I don't feel like going to the gym right now" resulting in being locked out of all her content going forward? It's no so much that it's crazy as that (1) it isn't very obvious, and (2) the "penalty" seems a little excessive.

And even more broadly than that, "don't be a dick to the LIs" is insufficient advice to keep you on the LI's paths, because some of the things that will kick you off a path don't at all constitute "being a dick." For another example, not inviting Annie to join you and Luna in the horror server loses Annie's path. That isn't being a dick to Annie,* especially since you know how easily-scared she is. But if she isn't in that server, she doesn't get scared, she doesn't come to MC's bed, etc. Or not asking Luna about her gloves after that server. Or not hiring the delinquents to torch the yoga teacher's car.

Bottom line, if you aren't using a walkthrough, you're probably going to lose some of the LIs' paths without meaning to. Lots of the things that'll drop you are pretty obvious, but some aren't.

*Yeah, you could argue it is, since she wants to join you. But it's at least arguable.

Those tend to fall under one of the most common tropes of VN path choosing: never choose inaction. So many devs who are writing a straightforward story will present you with "choices" where the options are to do a thing or to do nothing, rather than two different things. In those cases, choosing to do the thing will almost always be the beneficial one.

It's kinda a problem of the beginning, you can easily lose any path without being able to recover it later. And once you lost it,there is no much point in playing further, cuz you lose a really big piece of content. Lately,it's getting a bit better because choices that close a path are more obvious

iirc,I lost only Alex and Dalia routes on my first playthrough, however, since I'm more experienced with avns now,I know that you always need to say "yes" if any girl asks you something, and always choose the most perverted options :ROFLMAO:

That was the point of my suggestion, and I can't think why not. If "living under the same roof" is a problem, then MC can't be with anyone in the house, and, well... Annie isn't related to anyone else in the game.

Now, is there going to be an Annie-Dalia threesome? No idea. But Annie's shown enough interest in Dalia's ass that it makes me wonder. See also (and note where Annie's looking):
View attachment 5381406
Because they live in the same house is why I didn´t think about a threesome between them. I keep thinking they are all related except to Orion.
I also don´t know if it will happen, and as far as I´m concerned it´s in the "low priorities" tier when it comes to threesomes. I don´t know how the rest of the players feel and more importantly how Cari feels, since he´s the one who decides what happens.
But if it happens, I´m all for it.

Try to do a game yourself alone with the quality and quantity that Caribdis provides in the same time. Unless you don't value your irl, I assure you you'll rethink your statement. Maybe not on the first update, but after you do 3 or 4 non-stop.
There has been some misunderstanding here. Either you didn´t phrase your previous comment (the one I quoted) very well, or I didn´t understand what you meant. OR you didn´t understood what I said in the reply.
However, if I understood correctly, I don´t change a word of what I said. I think the game we get for the development time it takes is a good deal. I obviously wish it was faster, but I understand that it isn´t, so the 8 month cycle seems fine for me.

I don't think I even have such a list tbh. I love Annie, so I'm down for any content with her, but I don't know that I've given a great deal of thought to who else might be involved, other than looking forward to her and Luna. But MC kind of hinted at Nancy joining in with him and Annie (in Annie's BJ scene, she was concerned about having the door locked, because what would happen if Nancy were to talk in? He says she'd probably join them). Nancy just adores Annie, so...

Am I reaching here? Quite possibly. wrt Dalia, Annie has a clear thing for her ass, as already discussed--she says so at least one (I'm pretty sure twice, but I don't have another screen shot), we have her eyeing it, etc., so there's at least some reason to suspect we might be heading for a threesome involving the two of them. On this? MC could just be making a joke. He's absolutely right she wouldn't throw them out for having sex, but does he really think she'd join in? And are we supposed to take that as foreshadowing a threesome? That's probably a stretch. But I think it'd work well.

Yes, but Dahlia is one of the only LIs that actually has a remotely difficult to pass interest check that does lock out her route if you don't pass it. When you are in the prison with her. It's very easy to not have the interest required at that point if you don't perv on her. I believe you need 4 and if you don't perv on her, you need to get every other one possible up to that point. otherwise you will be at 3 or less. The perving just makes it easier to get to the required 4!

Ah, I agree with you guys. But those situations happened early in the game (up to 0.3) and it seems that the dev understood those were too punishing.
Kill-path choices should come from a long line of negative choices, so the player would understand that the choices that took them there meant they were leaving that LI out of his game. A hard break choice isn't optimal, indeed.

As for the programming, I could see a case for the game only checking the variable for Annie's path in that scene because that's the only one that matters in that moment when Luna and Annie are touching. It's easy to write another variable check later on when the scene is about to happen to determine whether it's a threesome or a moresome.
True about the possibility for another variable check later. I even faintly remember another time Luna referred to the vision and I don't quite recall if she just mentioned Annie and herself or if there were others.
Couldn't find it on a quick glance over the script file. Maybe someone else can help out

Complimenting Alex's pen, indeed was one of the most perverted choice I ever had to make in these type of games

Indeed, but there's no corresponding indication that you did something she disliked. Or that closed her path. Until you go to the hearts menu and she's grayed-out.

But yes, Annie was adorable even before we got to the train.

Yeah, that's is why it so beautiful that these Avns has this great feature of roll back. so, when you are presented with the usual 3 choice of respons, you can try out all , and see if it makes any difference.

surely there are times when you have to use your brain a little. For example when Dalia tell you about her private server and ask you to keep it a secret, and in the next conversation, you presented with a chocie to share it with Chang , you may need to use your brain a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit .

the other type of conversations are usually information gathering.

so losing a girl path accidentally without walkthrough is actually something of an achievement. Eternum is extremely kind game. and Caribdis in not a developer, who purposely want you fuck over, wiht his " follow you heart " bullshit.

like an another dev. Who can build episodes in a direction, and then completely take a 180 turn and sweep the rug under your feet, and you dont even know that you are off from the girl path .

" cough , cough " DPC " cough , cough "
:LOL::LOL:

Just check when you hear a heartbeat sound, but it's honestly tough to miss a route. Just always be proactive about pursuing them and take an interest in what they're doing.
Guess I’ll just make a choice, see what changes, and then go back to try all the options :D

(That’s actually what I do even when I’m using the walkthrough, because I want to see all the scenes…)

Damn, this game is so good!
