What was really satisfying so far for me was the relationship development with Alex, nova and annie in the last chapter, all three entered the girlfriend stage already. Dahlia got a bit of that too but still needs more and im kinda looking forward to that part with penny and luna a lot too ...

When you cite "the community" as being the one giving the heavy criticism instead of "certain/some parts of the community," does that not imply that he's saying everyone or a vast majority disliked the scene?

It is not unreasonable to say that the scene is not that great to you and other people.

It is unreasonable to say that a lot of people disliked the scene when the overall reception is mixed, with some even loving the scene.

The camera angles are bad, you never see her face, the climax is extremely underwhelming.

I completely agree with your point,but that such a popular game could never have just one perspective.I believe similar scenes should also be added for Dalia.

However, on a positive note, the thing I loved about the Dalia scene was her constant climaxing and her shaking each time. Even though it was the same animation being played, it was still hot.

I also loved the end when she is panting, and you can see her chest expanding. Maybe that one's just me, but I really liked that.

I wish I had the technical knowhow to make a webm of these scenes to showcase the animations I enjoy, but I have no clue how, so images will have to do!

No it isn't, because again there are people who disagree and are actually fans of the scene just as there are those who think the scene could do with a little more work, hence why I said reception is mixed.

You can spin it however you want, saying that "the community heavily criticized the scene" implies that everyone or at the very least a majority within those playing Eternum had nothing but negative things to say about the scene. There is nothing diplomatic about it.

A generalisation like “cats are aloof” does not imply that every cat is aloof. It simply refers to a commonly observed trait. How many cats need to be aloof to call it "common"? There is no fixed percentage of 50% or 100%; it depends purely on context and perception, which is the purpose of generalisations.

I haven't played OIAL, but if he has done MILF preggers content before, then for sure, Nancy could be the prime choice, considering she was creampied first. I also know there can be large time skips in between updates, so maybe some girls are even further along than we realise...
I agree that Annie would be a very suitable option narratively. Annie is also my favourite, so I would like that.
Several could also be revealed at once (or very near each other), so who knows what Cari will cook up!

I sorta get that. If pregnancy enabled means every creampie = baby (regardless of player input) is a common standard in this medium, I'm not aware of it as a I'm just a recent entrant. I'm just going by the predecessor and basing expectations off that.

EDIT: In Alex's case, I feel like she would be worse equipped for the situation. Like maybe MC/player wouldn't want to get the one girl whose hopes and dreams are for swimming olympics pregnant, but maybe that's too much player-avatar projection.

At the same time, accounting for all the permutations of those outcomes for what I'd want/expect might be too much of a narrative clusterfuck. End of the day, this is Cari's story to tell.

To be fair, Cari's method of having the pregnancy question being asked in the beginning isn't common practice in the industry (usually it really depends on whether the player made the choice right at the end of any penetration scene). I just think that he prolly has those unavoidable creampie scenes in mind when making this game so having that be tied to the pregnancy question is a deliberate design choice.

I think it's a very reasonable reading, considering that frequent invocations of "community criticism" often come from a vocal minority. Within gaming, movie/TV show communities, whenever people aggregate on social media to voice concerns, or in political protests, it is almost always a vocal minority.
Even in typical observations of life, like the cats being aloof, dogs are afraid of thunderstorms and vacuum cleaners, or roads flood after a heavy storm, generalisations observe a noticeable trend. This is why people typically interpret generalisations this way; they are used to describe what stands out, not how a majority or every single cat, dog, or road behaves.
Both he (I assume) and I agree with your screenshots lol. They support our position rather than disproving it. It's a casual conversation of opinions on a porn forum - no one "stepped out of line".
At least we kept the conversation cordial and friendly, that a good sign of healthy disagreement.
