You could make the argument that Idriel and the Syndicate planned all that shit in advance so Orion would end up being allied with the most powerful players in the game and improve his chances in succeeding with the task he's meant to do. The effort also probably is a once in a lifetime (heh) moment which is why Idriel sounded bitter when the 0.7 incident happened.

I mean...it could be that there is a larger plan behind everything. The story is even hinting at it a bit, but I'm generally not a fan of narratives in which the characters don't really have free will and only fulfill some prophecy or ancient plan.

Yeah, but now it would most likely kill his Patreon account if he'd do it. Even just putting them in the same sex scene without them interacting with each other would be very dangerous for a rather big account like his.

That doesn't change anything about the fact that the harsher crackdowns are a more recent thing. Back then this, despite being technically (and actually) against the rules already, simply wasn't punished harshly if at all. There was a lot of leeway with what you could do. Two sisters being with MC at the same time only somewhat recently has been targeted more actively.

And only since this new wave of censorship has Caribdis spoken about rather not risking his patreon for those scenes. OiaLT was made way before, as Dorfnutter already said.

Yes, which is why Lauren and Judie never went far beyond kissing in their scene because Patreon only cracked down against hardcore incest stuff. After the ToS changes you can't even so much as have hardcore content with two or more family members physically present in the same scene (even if they're not interacting with one another), which is why Carter threesome stuff that's akin to the Lauren-Judie scene just wouldn't fly unless Cari basically kisses his main source of income goodbye.
