This cannot be overstated.

I have had 1k total downloads for Blood Spirals on itch over the two updates so far.

The number of downloads from gofile alone via F95 has been 11k for the two updates. That's over 10x, and I expect the difference becomes even wider with games that have a broader appeal.

I imagine Eternum has 20x or more traffic here than over on itch.

Lemme go paragraph by paragraph:

1- Assume the amount of money Caribdis makes, completely ignoring the fact that you don't know how life in Spain is, and how his personal situation is at the moment (I only know the first one so I will pass the second)

2- This is actually true, and I agree on the point exposed

3- $100 bucks is actually less than 40 bucks for him with the taxes included, so its not a big amount of income for him. Have you ever been a self-employed person in Spain? Don't even talk about it when you know nothing of how this work. Lots of people here are working very hard to only make it through for a month, and specially people working like Caribdis based on donations, getting taxed almost every penny.

4- I don't really care about HoneySelect 2 being paid or free, I don't even use it.


So please, in the future consider to think more before critisizing a person that provides you with this work of art.

I tend to use this area as a testbed to see if a game is something I enjoy or it's blegh - or the creator gets...lame. So I'll try the most recent update out and if it's good, I sub to the creator to support them and Cari always gets my business in general cause he's easily one of the best AVN writer/devs out there and it's not even close in most cases.

Unlike the nonsense that is WVM *snorts with laughter*

True... Most sales <in terms of volume> for popular Developers come from sites like this... People actually are more willing to buy a membership if they like the story and the dev...
