Far better than what i expected, a good plot (far from perfect though, since the main antagonist power lead to a few hole in it already),
some endearing characters like Sera and Lucie, great animation too so i would have been a little surpised that it isnt more known but with one update only since the initial release with such a gap between the two would probably explain it .

Saying that the odds arent in mc's and his friends favor would be an understatement but still curious to see how all that evolve in the futur.

Started playing this some time back but my PC died shortly after. I've replaced it over six months ago but never got around to revisiting this game because I couldn't remember the title. Had a back up of my home folder (Linux user here) hence I went through the renpy folder and lo and behold, after crosschecking directories (some games use weird names as back up renpy folder) I finally landed on this. Downloaded the update here and played. My thoughts in random order:
  1. There are a few grammar and spelling errors. By the time I thought of capturing them, I couldn't remember every spot so I just started from when it occurred to me to use screenshots. I'll wrap them in spoiler tags.

  2. We have a choice with Aria or do we? No matter how much you AVOID Aria, you still end up having sex with her. Even if she's being used as whatever word you'd use here, there's no FORCED tag in your tags so we should not be forced with a LI no matter how much we chose to avoid. I really do not know how you intend the story to roll out, but even if it's a Harem game, Harem members shouldn't be forced, at least, that's what I think. I could be wrong. You push people away from the game when you force them down a path that you clearly made options to avoid. What then is the use for the choices if they're forced to do what they chose NOT to do?
  3. The story paces nicely except for his interaction with his housemate (I'm guessing Nora's mom adopted him when he was abandoned.
That's about it for now. Good luck and hope you succeed as you labor on.

Pretty long update this one was, so took a bit, but got caught up with the Dev again.

As I mentioned in the review, I can’t wait to see how this project progresses. Good luck with fixing the rough edges that are present at the moment and great character writing, dev!

Having potential issues:

Immediately after seeing the first time with Ari I'm in school and the prompt is: I need to see Ms. Camille. But I can't get to her, when I click on her class I'm told I already did this task. I go to the 3rd floor, have a short scene that feels incomplete with the doctor and then wind up watching Levy though I chose the rich girl earlier.

Seems strange.

Hey everyone,
I realize I’ve neglected this site for a while. Things have been really busy/difficult, but more importantly, I stepped back because I didn’t want to be the kind of dev who reacts poorly to criticism. Rather than risk taking things too personally, I ended up avoiding the site entirely and just stuck to itch/patreon—which, in hindsight was a mistake since it also meant missing out on interacting with the people here who just genuinely enjoy my game.

I know I need to take criticism in stride and not let it get to me. So, while I still can't promise I'll be active here, (let alone as frequent as some other devs), I’ll do my best to stay engaged when I can.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed Update 2! I’m already hard at work on the next one, and I’ve noticed myself improving with each update, which is nice (only three so far, but still). Maybe one day, I’ll be a lot less self-conscious about my writing and art—but for now, I’ll just keep my head down and keep going.
Thanks to everyone who’s played the game and those who left kind words—I appreciate it.

Here's a really quick Lucie render I made specifically just for this comment :) (and as a small apology lol)

That does sound strange. I tried replicating the first issue you mentioned but couldn’t get the same result. I’ll keep looking into it and let you know if I find anything.

As for the ‘incomplete scene’ with Ms. Han, that was always meant to be a short sequence as the endpoint for that section. There’s a line of text that’s easy to miss, which basically says something along the lines of "she did her research, and you left" iirc, and the following Levy scene is an abrupt timeskip.

Regarding the route selection, I explained this in the update notes back then, but since those notes have been deleted with later updates (my mistake), I get why it might be confusing. In Update 0.5, I released Levy’s route first despite the player’s previous choice since development was taking longer than I’d like, and I felt pressured to release. However, the choice will still matter in future updates, and I plan to circle back to ensure consistency.
I appreciate the feedback!

That’s a lot, and I can't get to everything. You're free to feel how you feel, and I genuinely do appreciate these criticisms, but a lot of it can't really be answered for now or will be answered later on, and a lot hinges on guessing/different interpretations

But some of it I can address,

Lastly, regarding everything you mentioned about the main antagonist—at this point, everything is just speculation, so I don’t see how that leads to plot holes already. No character is all-knowing. Who knows? Maybe the information Ms. Han has isn’t up to date, and she’s unknowingly sharing outdated details. Maybe that’s why things don’t add up entirely.
There could be a reason for that—perhaps it’s intentional. And maybe that’s why there’s a quick line hinting that he’s been alive for longer than he lets on. You're operating under the assumption that he can use it at this point in time and, without knowing how it's activated/if it's even active. We won't know until we get there I guess.

Thank you for taking the time to write that, I'll keep some of those in mind.

it was mostly a list of thing i hopped to have answer in game, i didnt expect any spoil about the story, it would ruin all the fun to discover it through the story anyway ^^

For Levy and Alice my bad i meant Elsie of course, little error of my part too, and it was a team effort yes, never said otherwise, one shot him and the other throw him out of the bridge

For the main antagonist you'r right and what i meant was "potential hole", since these kind of power usualy tend to create some .
My english isnt the best and i tend to correct myself a lot so i probably supressed it accidentaly so sorry for the missundersanding here.

As for how i see things at the current point of the story, never said it was a bad thing, if it was to easy for the protagonist or to predictable, it wouldnt be interesting ^^

the only thing i thing is realy weird no matter how i look at it is about Sera past since you've showed us that her father continue to gamble and and losing money even at present time, so why would they stop and leave him alone if Sera was abducted because of his debt in the first place ? , ( i wont ask direct answer but will any answer about it be given in the story later on?

Thanks for replying! It's appreciated. Yeah, I saw the reference in game when MC says I chose her but went this other path; valid choice story wise but caused confusion and took me out of the story in real time. Maybe the narrator or MC can speak to it before the alternate arc starts or just remove the ability to pick?
As a reader it took me out of the universe and forced me to think of real life. As always, I could be the oddball though. Sounds like it won't be a problem soon anyway so probably just ignore the suggestion.
This is really good, the story is enjoyable, the characters are unique and interesting and I am looking forward to the next release. I do think the time skips being so frequent and also white text on black screen feel unfinished as they are. Even as in game static image might help the overall feel.

A very interesting game both in terms of story and CG.

I started with this release and completed hopefully all possible options but I am still missing two entries in the gallery. If that is due to complex condition then maybe a walkthrough will be needed in future.

On the other hand I did not really see much differences with choices, overall that seems more like a kinetic novel with optional scenes that can be avoided. The sand box elements also felt a bit artificial and did not bring any real alternatives. Actually I prefer the kinetic version. Bringing a consistent story just with alternative sequences of events is a major challenge, so please focus on the story and not on artificial complexity. Would really love to see this continued and finished.
