Not a particularly surprising ban(even with the heavy censorship...which,taking a look at the CG set,I still have no clue how that was supposed to work anyway).
Obviously sucks for Alicesoft(the eroge community as a whole really)and who knows whatever their relations with mangagamer are now.
Seems like the golden age is over,right back into the underground with us.

That sucks sure hope we get the whole game from somewhere translated played this demo and it made me want to replay the first one. In the last scene QU keeps saying I hate that man does anyone know if she is talking about someone at mangagamer? or is it a reference to something else?

Hate to break it to you, but that's exactly what steam is doing. They're weighing how many sales they would lose from other titles not selling from people not using the format, versus the relatively tiny amount of sales they would get for a niche hardcore porn game.
I'm not thrilled about it either, but I can definitely see why they made that decision.

They haven't been struggling since allowing porn games, and with the price point/ sales numbers of the 1st game they would obviously get a considerable amount of money from the sequel. Steam doesn't have any serious competition, and many people have already invested far too much into the platform to consider going elsewhere. If this is them weighing sales then they need a new scale.

So seeing how this trial version got my hopes all up in arms for a full version. I decided to search for the JP version to tide me over until god knows when. Despite not understanding a damn thing being said it is pretty good. I found a JP wiki and had google translate, it helps a little but with out being able to understand any of the text in game and of course google translate engrish still makes it hard to know where to go next. JP local is needed to play the game.

Hate to bring up this subject but I had just finished playing the first game and was wondering what was going on with the 2nd game even though its not being released on steam they did say they were going to continue working on the English translation for the 2nd one but I cant find any news about its progress or where I can purchase it does anyone happen to know anything about it?

I have been searching for this answer as well and have come up with nothing. If someone knows I would love to know as well. I have played the JP version a couple times now and I really want to know the story. Game play in this one is better than the first one imo. I am hoping the story is better too. Not saying I did not like the first one it is still in my top five. Where this one winds up will depend on the story and having an uncensored version is a must as well. It may be years before this gets an english ver. though if Steam will not do it and the company that did the first one will not then who? Makes me very sad damn good game.
I have not tried it but I kind of doubt it being the only release of the full game currently is JP. it would be surprising for the english trial ver. save to work but again I have not tried it.

Steam and Valve banned it, but its still being offically translated.
