Hoping to get help as I seem to be stuck

I am on Chapter 2: Here be dragons - Heinline's Crisis

I got on the ropeway after the cave collapsed to get in from the back, I went to the new town there - Karakawa. When entering we tell the Mayor about the dragon and to evacuate the town, he doesn't believe us. We're told we need to visit the lady at the church, starting with the church there in Karakawa. Entering the church in Karakawa, it says if you are looking for Saint Rubbra, shes not there and she is in Kaylany. However, I don't think I can get to kaylany, wherever that is.

The hint when idle is that Rubbra is waiting for me at one of the church's in Heinline, but only two churches exist, one at Karakawa and one at Nacre harbor and they both tell me the same thing, to go to Kaylany.

Is this a bug or am I missing how to get to Kaylany

This. It can be a bit confusing because you can't teleport to it, but it's right before the entrance to the forest

Well, I finally beat the game. Felt like I did much better than I ever did with the first game. I guess because I got used to how things run now. The sophomoric humor is right up my alley and gave some laughs during the virus chaos. (Even found it bizarre that there was a Red vs. Yellow/Blue event mixed in.) Just have to go back and try to mop up some Mega-Monsters. I would find it interesting if they can produce a joint game featuring both casts next.

Gal monsters spawns randomly, but they're more often spawned by those red spiky thing (50% extra exp battle) on map.

Yes, sadly. You need to disable that and any of Kano's skill that disables random battle.

They spawn more frequently around Oatmeal and yes the red bonus battle star things are going to be your best bet .

I hate that I eradicated a disease that is actually very useful to me. don't be like me.

I'm on chapter 4 and as soon as I saw platina's chapter disease where she gets her turn after Yuragi's turn, I'm like oh no that's so bad. because there's also the disease in chapter 3 where she also gets her turn after Alex's turn. so it is possible for her to have 2 actions in one turn cycle. and I'm predicting she'll have more in the later chapter diseases. but i eradicated that disease. that was bad. don't be like me.

I just found one west of Asimoff, close to the green warp tubes from Mario while driving around with my boat. Gave me 470.000 XP.

On the sea, I wasn't able to enter those islands yet because I'm still in the main story.^^ Also found another one around the red cross island while being on boat. This one gave 712.000 XP.

Finally I've found one too, 1.700.000 EXP. But two levels aren't enough to complete chapter 5.

Making me feel better about giving up on fighting that boss when I was only level 78 and having trouble.

Rather liked the game, found it to be better than the first one and it looks to be setting up for a third one.
