Most often, this just means you prefer the style of games like this one, where they're being rendered by screenshots of Illusion games (HS1/HS2/KK/etc.) and their studio products.
The worst renders you can make in an Illusion game are significantly better than the worst renders you can make in Daz, because Illusion games have a skill/quality floor where Daz really doesn't.
However, along with that skill/quality floor comes a skill/quality ceiling, a cap where you can't really improve anymore. This means that the
best renders you can make in an Illusion game, even with post-processing, are absolutely blown out of the water by the best renders you can make in Daz. It's not even remotely close. There's also significantly greater variation in art style available via Daz (e.g. the Blender-created characters in MIST and Covenant of Morn are being rendered in Daz). It just takes a
lot more skill and effort to put out Daz renders of that quality than it does to make pretty and passable Illusion game-based renders.
