Not sure about the quality of the game, but it has a clear "avoid tag" on it with such file sizes and almost no options regarding the mirrors.

This game is for a small niche of players. Hopefully it stays that way. Stick with the ever so popular Ren'Py visual novels that take all the top spots on this site. Most players just want to be entertained with no effort on their part so this game will never get a large following.

As far as the mirrors are concerned, I informed the moderators about it already. That is part of the job of 'Uploaders' on this site.

This is ridiculous, how the hell are you supposed to install this game, let alone download it without having to change servers every 5 minutes? Can't it be made as one download to save all the hassle, or is this too much to ask?

Most of the game is about being evil (go figure right?). The 'Family Trouble' story is more about close relationships and bonding with your family which eventually turns romantic. It is meant to be a touching and deep story. You do have the option of turning your mother and sister into whores or slaves, however I don't recommend this path personally.

It's games like this that make me glad to sub to Mega lol. That's also a compliment of the game that the updates are meaty (Pun very much intended)

I know QSP used to be limited to them but there are at least 2 different QSPplayers with video support available now and mp4s are so much smaller in file size.

Very few gifs are used in Evil 2 (the few that are in there are from the original game). Nearly all of the files are images (.jpg) or videos (.mp4). Feel free to examine the folders.

Yes. The previous two developers didn't care much about file size and used HD 30 second real porn clips for most of the video content. I don't care that much about file size either and have stuck with 30 second HD real porn clips for most of my content. There are tons of videos and pictures for the generic sex system. That is where the bulk of the size comes from.

My 'Family Trouble' story added approximately 3.5 GB to the file size. I added the mother and sister to the generic sex system which took a ton of files (735 to be exact).

In some ways it's a blessing as it prevents those who aren't serious about the game from downloading it. Yes, the pictures and videos could be optimized better but without reducing image quality you probably wouldn't save more than 25%.

How do I continue the family story after waking up to the first event (starts with sister .........)?

You should have put that in a spoiler friend!

You just need to pass two days I believe. Enable the cheat console and click on the + Hour button until it gets to 22 or 23, then hit the 'Refresh Location' button and click on 'Sleep'. Repeat and rinse for two to three days.
