I havent played yet (enjoying cursed armor series recently)
by checking inside rpgvx project it should start in shadow city, southwest of the grand lane map.

Thanks, also do you have a guide on how to capture non-bounty targets like the ones attacking your castle. I know that they can be traded for magic stones but it is so difficult I am starting to feel like it is not worth my time, especially if there is no CGI.

At the beginning, your team members are not strong enough, so you don't need to capture them specifically (unless the plot requires them), just concentrate on breaking the main storyline. Later, an elf will join, she has the skills to break clothes and capture all.
And these CGs will be there after the sisters of the Knights are caught, so they should not be missing.

try extract the attached zip to your data\ folder and battle again.
