Thank you for visiting the thread and for showing an interest. The simple answer is "When it's ready". Also if you looked in the developer notes you'd have seen in the last paragraph the following as I stated there regarding the ETA:
I'm not much of a slasher movies fan (or horror movies in general), but SakuraBlossomGames, you get me with the tag Female Protagonist and Lesbian
Now, I hope your game won't attract too much attention of all the dick lovers here, who tend to come whining on all the threads of games with these contents...
You say this game is heavily inspired by slashers movies of the 80s, but you seem to have take some liberty from the genre (well at least from what I know from it).
Like, shouldn't the blonde girl be a real slut (and so one of the first to die...). However, this does not seem to be the case. From what we've seen so far, Michelle doesn't seem so much of a slut. Unless her reaction when we touch her is considered as slutty.
And shouldn't there be some bullies/villainous characters?
At least there are some dumb guys
Anyway, I hope we could make clever decisions that one usually taken by the protagonists in that kind of movies.
I understand that this game is not for everyone, so naturally my game caters for more specific audiences, which I'm fine with, be it older audiences nostalgic for the 80s, or who love the 80s/horror. Some will be here for the female-female friendly content that will be contained within, which can include naturally guys who like lesbian content. I did after all want to create a game that was my own, in my own image and that had my own efforts poured into it, vs creating something generic or that many others were doing, especially as horror is the genre that I've decided I wish to step into, seeing as I have a big love for it. There will be both subtle and not so subtle nods towards other horror and general references (without copyright imposing) and with it there will be some cliches that you'd expect, especially from the slashers of the 80s, be it with my own "takes" on the genre too.
It's always better for a dev to make the game they want. Doesn't mean that you can't take advice, listen to the players, take some requests... But at the end it's your project and you're the only one in charge.Thank you for taking the time for visiting my thread and for leaving your comments. I will admit that I had a little chuckle from them, which is always a nice and to be frank a lovely change of pace.
I won't delve into the characters and what sort they are/you'd see as that you will discover further on in the chapters as this game progresses. As for the main character, you will be put into the situation where you'll have to make some rash and potentially costly decisions later on, so what will come of those decisions, you'll all have to see, if you're able to make it to the end that is.
