Fairytale Mod v0.1901

Update of the mod to v0.19.

There will be a time in the new 0.19 quest line, at the Facility, where fast travel won't make any sense from a narrative standpoint. I've chosen to leave it as is, letting the player fast travel freely, to avoid a lot of added complexity.

In my opinion, the game would've been my enjoyable if it didn't run on HTMP. I can't stand games that you have to use the internet to play.

If you download everything you don't need the internet to play the game, you need a browser - yes but you can be offline , if you have everything on your harddrive.

The new cheat for v0.19 is "cheatfinal2.0".


In case someone finds this for a later version, here's how to get the new cheat (unless they change the underlying programming logic that is):
  1. Open the .html file with your editor of choice (I prefer VSCodium, but anything with a search function that can handle medium sized text files will work)
  2. Press "Ctrl+F" to search for text and search for the word "cheat". Make sure you start searching from the top of the file.
  3. You should find a line similar to
    Code: 
    &lt;&lt;set $cheat1=&quot;Y2hlYXRmaW5hbDIuMA==&quot;&gt;&gt;\
    *(currently in line 835 but that may very well change)
  4. The relevant text is that stuff between the
    Code: 
    =&quot;
    s. You may notice the "==" at the end indicating a base 64 encoded word.
  5. Copy that text and open a base64 decoder online (any of the free ones will work). Paste the text in there and press decode.
  6. The decoder should spit out the cheat password (currently "cheatfinal2.0").
  7. Start the game as usual, enter this text as the cheat, enjoy.
