As a reminder, if anyone is missing those and wants them, here is my post with those completed:
Honestly, the ending of this game, as it is, is pretty heartbreaking. Did the dev ever give any indication of where the story was going to go? The Kait-lyn story ending where it did and leaving it there is diabolical. I would love to know if there was the intention a happy ending or not, because that last text message with the picture of mother and child is so, so heartbreaking.

The interesting thing is that Dev disappeared off the map. Could he have regretted creating the story?

He didn't just disappear, though. He announced that he'd no longer continue the game, that it was officially abandoned. TBH, I kind of doubt he had any regrets about the story. Rather, he probably had his RL situation change significantly enough that he no longer had the time to invest in this. As it was, the final update took him forever to release, and he struggled really hard just to get it out. It's really too bad, too: I loved this damned game.
