I know that this is now abandoned, and I know that this last version has been out for a couple of days now. However, since I have seen it several times in the thread, I decided to make a visual guide to all of the secret images anyway. It's possible there might be an error here or there, so let me know if that's the case and I'll correct it and upload a fixed version. I've included an image here (in the spoiler) and also attached a PDF copy of it, it you'd prefer that.

Kudos to him for that.

Well, not all people can do updates as they wish and probably his life is making it harder to update this game as he said in that post and is why he is abandoning it, for me is admirable he is being honest about not being able to keep working on the game instead of just going MIA like many others have done in the past and are doing nowadays.

Yes, totally agree about that. Appreciate his finishing the game for us, but really didn’t like the ending. That said I really enjoyed the game aside from that, especially The Kait-Lyn character.

So if the game has been abandoned or on hold a few times and is taking an average of 6 months to update. We can decide to pass on the game and say HECK NO to supporting them.

In his case at least he's being honest and he will close Patreon after the update. I don't remember if he paused pledges during his long absence. Maybe he though it was possible to make a comeback. What would make even more illogical the way he just acted.
But yes, I can see what you mean. THe thing is, the site lacks more basic items such as a tag distinction between some sexual practices or behaviors, that entail infinite discussion on different threads.

Update 0.4 and the future
Hello everyone,
After the simple update post yesterday, I wanted to follow up with a post to go over some things regarding the general state of the game. First, a changelog, not all-encompassing but should have most of the big changes listed:
  • MC's house gets an exterior
  • Secrets (pictures) have been added, some purchasable from Kevin and most scattered throughout the world
  • New cheats app in the computer, a couple cheats available
  • New "Homework" folder in the computer, where you can look at secrets you have discovered
  • A couple new scenes for Beverly, several for Kait-Lynn to round out the second part of her story
  • School has been given a facelift
  • Lowered chances of getting robbed when biking at night
  • New map button, lets you quickly go to the town map, and quickly return to your bedroom
  • Main Menus have been spruced up
  • Character screen has been revamped
  • A few conversations added for some characters
  • Character imagebuttons have been separated into their respective location screens, hopefully this makes loading locations a little quicker
  • The town map has been redone, now with a "compact" mode as well
  • Various other small changes
Also, old saves are not compatible unfortunately, time did not permit for me to make those changes as I had once hoped.
Speaking of time, I am sure some of you are wondering where I have been for the past year+. Suffice it to say there were major life changes for me (for many of you as well, I imagine) that changed my priorities and forced my focus elsewhere. When I first began development I did not have the responsibilities and commitments that I have now, and I was able to work freely. I was not brave enough to confront you all and so I kept putting the Patreon and everything else on the back-burner, until I finally managed to finish the remaining development of the update this year.
So then, what for the future? Unfortunately it pains me to say that development for Fall Fable can no longer continue. I have so many more stories and ideas kicking around in my head that I would like to see visualized in the game, but I do not have the time and energy to do them justice.
I have published the update 0.4 post to the public, and the links in the 'About' section of the public page as well. I will be unlaunching the Patreon page at the end of the month, so that everyone gets a chance to grab it before the links are gone from Patreon. I will keep the links up on the

agreed. I understand why things with mc and kait-lynn happened the way it did(for the story). kait-lynn is quite likeable, which just makes it more annoying that the story doesn't make any sense, furthermore how it is abandoned now, when it had a lot of potential.

Do you know how frequent the updates were prior to the pandemic?

No, I'm not and no, I don't. My point is that you're the one who suggested that someone should "find her char model and continue". You'd be far more effective doing what you suggest yourself instead of waiting on others. Personally, I don't think I would want to see anything further unless ProMorning ever decides to pick it up again.

Damn, introduced to the game in the same update it dies. Too bad, I enjoyed it and would have followed it. Kate-Lyn was great. Hope the dev is doing what he enjoys, and if he isn't, he can get back to it some day.

I understand that life changes, and I'm glad ProMorning was able to push out one last update that gave us pregnant sex, conception sex, an answer to the central mystery, and more time with Kait-Lynn. Freckled redhead pregnant childhood friend sex: achieved! So I say to you, thank you, and good luck with life stuff, ProMorning. If you can ever come back, I will enjoy it. If not, I understand. If you'd be willing to upload some assets (particularly Kait-Lynn and Prisha) to the assets part of the site, that would be cool, but no worries.

@ People wondering why he couldn't complete it; because life happens. Some people ended up with more free time due to the pandemic, sure, but some people ended up with more work than ever, or family income that needed to be replaced, or family that needed care, or got cut off by the changing job market. It's not our business, wish them well and move on.

@ People wondering about the plot; I've accepted far more wild things than a lost princess and uninspected adoption papers before. Maybe they had something more elaborate or realistic planned, but went with this so it could get out the door. That's fine by me. It left a cliffhanger that could be picked up later, or just as a "the story continues" type ending.

Can you summ me those answers? I'd rather not go back to it knowing it's done anyway, but I do want to know the answers for the whys if I can :D
