You're right... I probably shouldn't have decided to do a Remake of the game. It's costed me a lot of time, energy and even support on something I personally thought would have a bit more value in the long run. It was a gamble that hasn't seemed to pay off yet. I'm not proud of how things are taking forever, but a lot of real-life stuff has been taking a massive chunk of my time away from development. Not to mention the amount of stress and stuff I've been dealing with.

At the end of the day, all I can say is that I'm trying to make it better for you guys, and returning to where things are supposed to be as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Wait if you only wanted to change the backstories in the beginning wouldn we better just update the prologue and finalize the game first this is just dumb sorry.
I dont know if you are having problems in real life or something and thats why you cant update the gale faster but remaking the game when it was almost at the end .....
Dosent leave you on the best light ....
Also making a prologue enfatazing that some of the girls have boyfriends in this type of game im thinking why you try to sabotage your own work dude if isnt broken dont try to fix it

I also hate the fact they we were told "Don't worry everyone, they'll be single by the time you get them". Yay we get to have used girls now. Before the remake they were all only ever with the MC besides the milfs. It's sad the tone shifted. The girls look different now. I'm just not a fan anymore.

The updates for the last 3 or so years have been few and far apart. It started to slow down quite a bit after the dev left the military now I guess they've returned, to some extent (haven't really paid much attention and to be honest I forgot about this game).

I just checked my patreon billing history, last payment to 13th sins was back in May 2022. That was back when things were really slow to update before the talk about the remake. Ugh. Oh well. I guess we can look forward to hearing more about the girls boyfriends and maybe even see them with them.... I'm not really sure why 13 thought it was a good idea for this but oh well. I might try it if it ever gets some more updates but this whole remake has left a sour taste in my mouth.

Wait a year or 2 if this dosent get a ton of content or go" another route" is why i do whit remakes im burned out a lot of remakes that dosent have a reason and surprise content in games i liked before nowdays im playing morr japanese games than anythint at least they make the full game in one go and i know what they have not halfway surprises or remakes before reaching the final or updates that took years after remakes

The backstories are essentially just being added onto. Nothing that's been known or established is getting changed. *insert kylo ren saying MORE here*

It wasn't necessarily close to being finished. IIRC, the original plan was for 6 chapters. I'm not 100% sure, but I do know it was supposed to have 2 more, at minimum.

I can't really speak on it too much because it's not really my place to say, but yes, real life did get in the way. Real life can and will always take priority no matter the situation,

There wont be NTR in the game at all. Some people are concerned about that.

From what I remember, nothing has been said or implied that they were "used." Just that some have experience dating, if not full-fledged dating, then in the talking phase. Now, it's been a good while since I've seen it, so don't quote me on that and feel free to correct me. I can't speak too much on it, but yes, they will be single when it's time that they get around to the MC. It's pretty much that the MC may or may not be the very first person that they "talk to". Obviously, I can't tell the future, or if I di,d I can't say anyway. However, what I can say is this, I mentioned above but there isn't going to be any NTR or anything of that sort.


The dev does do things for the military every so often. His job is during night shifts as well. I think he said in a reply before some got purged that he has something to do with the military for the first few weeks of next month. He won't be working on the game during that time, of course. Real life situations will ALWAYS take priority over this game. No matter the situation. He's even said at times that he really hates it when things come up and he can't work on the game as often as he wants to.

As for the remake, this thread and even the Discord server have talked about it. The dev has released progress updates on Discord here and there. I'm not sure if you've seen those or not. I also briefly talked about it above.

I didn't even do anything, lol. Hell, I actually replied to three of them at once, but even mine got deleted.

What I tried saying was that I understand the dislike or annoyance that I decided to do a... "Komisari" as someone put it... but that I'm not trying to screw anyone over. I've really been sidelined by a lot of uncontrollable elements that took higher priority, which ended up with me being really stresssd out.

I'm currently trying to crunch for a release before the last days of May, because I will be unavailable for two weeks due to my annual military training. I hate the fact that it's taken this long to release an update, but even I can't control everything I do.

While I'm not a fan of the remake, I do have to say that girls in these games with no planned NTR that have boyfriends doesn't necessarily mean they have plenty of experience, maybe even little to no experience, plus this isn't the first game I played that had these plans in place. One example is "My Dorm", where a goth-like girl had a boyfriend before getting with the MC in that game, but she hasn't gone any further than handholding or kissing, still a virgin. Another example would be "Strong Desire" where a sibling of that game's MC was married but didn't even do anything before, during, and after marriage, also still a virgin. That's why, with these experiences from other games in mind that avoid the NTR tag, I will withhold final judgement with this remake and the planned backstories until it gets fleshed out with enough details.

I can agree that it doesn't need to be mentioned to the player at all if a LI has had a partner in the past, but if it is mentioned then it needs to have a reason for it. Is the LI hurt because of a prior bf was abusive? Did they cheat? did they pass away? Are we as the MC going to help them work through it and that's their relationship hook? If that's the case, then I'm fine with it as long as there's no flashbacks showing any of the sexual acts should there have been any. Same for Mother characters, just don't show it and it's fine.

Having every single character be a virgin with zero relationship experience just makes them all wind up feeling the same in the relationship arc in some aspects. Variation is good, but it needs to be written properly. Especially since the point of the rework was to give characters a more fleshed out story/personality and not just fall head over heels in love with the MC right off the rip. I mean, one got pregnant like 2 days after meeting him in the original.

if the girls have past relationships but arent very important and dosent have much space in the story waht is the point of telling us (make us angry and dont want to talk to the girl ? ) i mean if they are not gonna do anything only just be there waht is the point thats bad story telling bro .

You know, that's a good point. I probably did word that badly. What I was trying to say was that nearly all but the mothers, Fuyumi, Rosa, Jasmine, etc... are all virgins. I apologize for any confusion.

Yeah, I'm not expecting every LI to be a virgin in these thing. I know many are but to me it's just a boring power tip fantasy. I just don't like ham-fisted references to it. Something a simple as "My last boyfriend was a dick so I don't trust you" or "I haven't had much luck with past relationships" are subtle enough and get the point across.

Like you said, if there are some underlining issues or turmoil with the character then there may be a reason to focus on it but otherwise it's pointless. It doesn't add to character development.
