Well I'm glad that I'm not the only one with serious doubts about this game. When I was a patron in the past I never saw any other comments asking for proof of the game. I thought I was taking crazy pills or something.

i really had a good laugh at the read to reward each other with likes....they are trying this social media shit as a light version/motivation to justify the Multiplayer...

i would have agreed if they solely made an option for the gaming part about multiplayer, but with the stuff they are showing off only(talking about a glorified scene-viewer) AND lock exclusive stuff behind it...yeah no...same situation with pandorium. seen the stuff they lock behind patreon/multiplayer access, never looked back...

maybe they get the hint with the feedback people give them about this decision.

Even if I want to support the game, I could just buy Subverse and play it without having to worry about multiplayer this, patreon that. We don't even know how Operation Lovegraft singleplayer mode gonna turn out.

I'm not here to kiss FOW's behind, I just wish Fallen Doll's dev would just make a game with no weird ass confusing multiplayer mechanic. I do want to support the game!

0.40 Progress Report: Pubic Hairs and Outfit Set Themes

It has been three months since pubes have been approved in the monthly poll and it lays at the top of our todo list now.
Four pubic hair styles will be available to select from in 0.40, the upcoming Steam beta build: Stubble, Heart, Strip and Natural. Unlike the conventional diffuse + normal map approach, we groomed the pubic hair strains so they look impeccably realistic from any angle.

In the meanwhile we are propagating the current outfit design language to other characters: for example a school themed costume set including Alet's Academia Uniform, Erika's Sparkling Cheerleader, Dr.Anya's Head Teacher and Galatea's Sukumizu Swimsuit.

School, Bunny Girl, Christmas and Succubus sets will be the first a few themes implemented in 0.40.

Just missing simulations. And the long awaited game.

Subverse and Lovecraft were my 2 most anticipated lewd games. Probably the closest thing to a AAA 3D hentai game we're going to get. Subverse was quickly overtaken when I saw how detailed and smooth Lovecraft was. Yet over time, Lovecraft went down in quality while Subverse improved.

Compare the detailed textures from earlier releases to what we have now and you'll see the difference. I can only assume it was to help fight the FPS complaints they were getting, but they could have just left the original stuff in and added more configuration options to offset it for people with worse hardware. Then you add in how they backpedaled on a bunch of their original promises and moved all of their focus to a multiplayer mode that no one will even touch. New characters, new monsters, new animations..now multiplayer specific. So the campaign is now significantly lacking in lewd content and the hentai aspect turns into a gallery to simply view animations. Not to mention the need to be subbed to play.

As for Subverse..I won't go into too much detail as this is the wrong thread for that. But all I will say is that their early game footage vs what we see now just before launch is a vast improvement. They seem to have gone up in quality instead of down. I mean no one can really speak to the quality of the gameplay as no one has played the finished version or any of Lovecraft's for that matter. In the end, I'm now excited for the upcoming Subverse release and regretting buying Lovecraft on Steam. It equates to an early access game with missing content now, and I don't buy that crap.

It may come to be a surprise to you but...such concern over multiplayer is rarely seen on their patreon. If the paying customers have no intention to riot over this you can't expect them to change the direction.

If you're worried about your friends seeing you play an xxx game, just use the code on another steam account. That way you dont need to worry about setting your privacy settings to hide games that you're playing. Problem solved.

Yeah, their patron count keeps going up despite the shift to multiplayer. They are now the 14th most popular creator over entire patreon, holy cow.

they just announced their shift and lots of people will buy the access via patreon, give it one or two months and the numbers will stabilize a bit. people will complain and the devteam will change directions soon enough again.

i know patreon subscribers are gullible and slow, just look at star citizien ~.~
but with the way how they handled their first project, switched to something else and now this...
also add the very possible situation, that they have to censor their stuff because steam wont be the only platform who has a problem with certain content...

i would like to see this all work out somehow and spiced with an interesting gameplay loop, but since those devs go 200% gallery viewer and 0% gameplay...well...

E: oh and about the feedback, i ve seen some people complain on their twitter and in their patreon feed, i would say it was a calculated move of them to screw the early supporters with a different project and cash now, care later. but yeah, real concerns on patreon only manifest in massive outrage from people who already are on the inside of the paywall and threaten to slow down the flow of money.

Fallen Doll and Paralogue are still very much similar sex sims. The rooms are different and different assets, but they serve the same purpose. It's a sex simulator built with UE. There have been significant updates to the engine since that project existed. But honestly, the project is up to ProjectH to build and they're not 100% beholden to their patrons. People donate to the project because they believe in it. If that changes, people are free to leave.

Patreon is a way to join your favorite creator's community and pay them for making the stuff you love.

If you don't love it, then leave it. ProjectH puts up a poll for their active patrons to vote on. Obviously, the people that donate the most have a louder vote in what happens. Ultimately, the things that ProjectH are willing to do is what gets put up in the polls. It's the ProjectH team that develops this for pay and ultimately it's paying off because their patron count keeps growing. That is the sign that ProjectH is going in the right direction with their development.
