Although in fact, by and large I don't care, I strongly doubt that I will ever buy this game at all. But in principle, the absence of Galatia generally excludes such a possibility)
So I'm kinda out of the loop about this game. I tried reading a few pages back and I'm still confused. Last time I played it, it was still basically a scene viewer (like the original -abandoned- Fallen Doll) but with monsters. I'd appreciate if anyone could answer these questions or point me in the direction of the answers.
1. It seems they will be turning this into an MMO...? So when the servers eventually go offline, people who bought the game are fucked or is the online portion optional (i.e. nothing is locked behind it)?
2. Is there going to be an offline version or we'll have to be online even to play solo?
3. They're going to release it on Steam, but we still have to pay them on Patreon to access the sexual content? This is one of the few games I was actually willing to support, but not like this.

There's a sandbox in which you can play with the girls and monsters (the link in OP). The harem mode is the MMO part; it's only way to have the group sex scenes. Perhaps next year, there will be a solo campaign with a real game, where you are supposed to unlock the positions/scenes/monsters.
Initially the plan was to have "defeat scenes" in the solo campaign, but they apparently shelved this part because Steam doesn't like rape.

played it long ago, I know the pain, and I definitely see the similarities. The start is pretty much the same disconsidering the details. Hope PH heads in a different direction if any

No, it is server hosting online game like MMO you play out there, so you must buy it, unless someone generous enough to make a emulation server, but the data on server will be hard to get

So when released, buying the game from Steam is enough to play it? Then what's the advantage of being patron? I am confused.

it is possible to crack it, it really just depends on how they managed all the files, drm, etc. we really dont know until we get the files. Some people are saying its going to have the files "hosted on a server" but i highly doubt that would be the case, considering it has a "campaign", wouldnt make sense to spend money on servers just for people to play offline and have to load in from the servers every time.
Also its not an MMO, it just has some multiplayer functions, an MMO would have hundreds of players in a single place.

Currently you only get a beta key for being a patron and they had some patron only outfit packs a while back. I don't know what they'll do with it after the game launches.

Being a patreon only gives you the outfits which you have to unlock doing who knows what in the game. Plus you "get" access to the beta, on November 16th i think is going to be the close beta, which means only patreons are going to be allowed onto it, its not an actual release from what i understand.
