come to think of it, if they managed their DRM stuff like they managed their time and effort this thing should be reasonably easy to crack XD
I mean it probably won't be lol, I don't know of a single porn video game campaign that was good when it came to gameplay (I do know some with good stories, but even in those the gameplay was abysmal because the devs think way too ambitiously and manage to hit none of their goals instead of hitting at lease a few smaller ones...)

If they already went so hard to prevent cracking when they are aware of this site, then they are not going to make this game easy to crack. If you think it wouldn't make sense to spend money on servers just for people to play offline and have to load in from the servers every time, then it is just your thinking, they could think different from you, also many game play offline still require you to connect to their server. Also if it can be crack, then i doubt they are going to make you easy to play all the feature in the game, you possibly can only crack to play the campaign mode
Next week update is going to be CBT release ON STEAM. They have the store setup.

No, you need to have accumulated at least $36 of Patreon pledges before November 2021 to get a key for the CBT.
I'm honestly just waiting to see people's feedback about the CBT and whether or not it'll be worth it to purchase outright in 2022. I have high hopes, but am very wary about the MTX format/vibe I'm getting from the few details right now.
In addition, I tend to lean towards the "resist" scenes (which they're renaming for Steam), and I'm not sure exactly how much of that content Steam is going to allow.

Still, as a scene gallery the demo is pretty good and the hints towards gameplay in the loading screen tips seem fairly interesting.

I know it might not be very convincing because I'm posting it on a piracy website, but I really would consider paying $25 or whatever to play this game in VR but NEVER if it has to be activated on Steam.

Yea, if it is cracked i doubt multiplayer would work, what i was trying to say was since people keep saying the files are going to be "hosted on a server" then we wouldnt get all the files to run the game offline, theres been online games cracked before to be offline only, such as 3dxchat.
Some people on here dont refer to verification when they say "hosted on a server" but rather the idea that you would need to load files that arent local to your pc from a server, making the offline files incomplete (which is why i said itd be a waste to spend money on servers if the majority play offline)

But campaign as currently we known it is just a storyline stuff with tabletop type of gameplay, i doubt people will just willingly to crack a game just to play that feature where the main thing they want is porn part, and technically speaking on how the harem mode will act and their intention, PH will goes for server hosting route with core component in the server, they are not going to let you easy to make an emulator to play, cuz it will totally defeat the purpose of force you to buy instead of cracking
There's a wide array of possibilities for how PH could have implemented the Internet-connected aspects of the game. Short of pixel streaming like Stadia/xCloud (which likely wouldn't be financially viable long-term when players only make a one-time purchase of the game), things shouldn't be impossible. I am super excited to pick through the code when it drops so I can get a better idea of what we're working with and what we can manage to rig up!

well to be fair, their target audience isnt people on a piracy site like f95, its people on steam/itchio/dlsite etc.
And i really doubt they would make the sex scenes online only, with a name like "Harem Mode", it kind of alludes to there being a Solo/Offline Mode. There really isnt a benefit to wasting resources to create a server only game that runs offline half the time when they could just make a better DRM. Plus if the harem mode was somehow the greatest invention every created by PH, i wouldnt doubt many people on here would just go purchase it to play online.

If i'm remember correctly, they did plan to make a battle rape with story, campaign mode with defeated scene and you character get raped like many combat h-game over there but they scrap that idea very fast, many people get rage because of this and we don't know why they abandon that feature, possibly to separated normal part and porn part so they could make this "server hosting" shit and force people to pay, but hey that just my thought
