So, just because they focus on asian market mean they should use online gacha model??????. No that not the reason, no one want to gacha roll a bunch of sex pose, if Project Helius seriously think that using gacha model is successful then they seriously need a re-education on gaming market
At some point you guys will have to come to terms with the fact that China is bound to replace the US as the de facto focus of every entertainment industry in the coming decades.

Successful is not the word you wanna use because gacha games are certainly successful financially. The model is however questionable morally, it's exploitative and scummy. While in Asia this model doesn't get anywhere as much flak as in west it is still not a desired or welcome model, especially that the game is not free (if the game is free then they are more accepting for it).

Finally it is hard to imagine that patrons wanted a gacha model even if they come from Asia. If the devs would use their own money they could do whatever they please but they use crowdfunded money for this, they lied and mislead. To this day there is no info on patreon that campaign will be SFW or that you need to play the online mode to have all the animations.

They have not lied or mislead anyone. The vision changed because that is what the devs needed to do to keep producing animations. Today I've been able to access Harem mode with every attempt. They expanded the amount of 10 person instances for people to join. Also, you misunderstand the definition of a patron.

You are protecting a porn game that turned into a gatcha...even if you are a Patreon it doesnt matter you gave money to them and what you got is a slot mashine that (for now) doesnt take more money then you gave but that might change in the future
stop being a drone and think a bit do you think they made the change cause it was good for the gameplay? No they want to do something with the "loobox/surprise mechanics" stuff if its making more money out of it...then be a drone and give them your wallet
At this point id rather have the older version that was just a Porn Gallery
And they might have not lied bout what they were doing but idk if they said they will turn the game into a Gatcha either the nr one reason prob why they did not even give the Patreons a few test builds in the mean time you guys should have been the QA's instead you were their piggy bank and thats it

Corporate : "We have no plans to sell X " (example lootboxes)
Corporate : "Sorry, plans change"

Normal people: " F* you, you lied to us."
Yes man : "That makes sense"

Guess who you are?

I know exactly what I was funding on an off since 0.20 and I was fine with the switch to always-online harem. I am happy with the interaction with the Discord community there and it's enjoyable to see a massive orgy of people in the rooms. I've spent thousands of dollars on F2P mmos in the past. ProjectH has been open about the fact that they will end up offering DLCs for added content but they would never charge for in game currency. Their current product is something I like and this community mostly complains because they are...

1) Insecure with theirselves and not wanting to wank knowing someone else is wanking in the same virtual room as theirselves
2) Not happy that they can't pirate this game

Anyways, I've captured the packets to see if the stream is encrypted and I found it is. I haven't looked at stripping the SSL from it, so I could see what I could find. I might do that later but I'm not that interested at the moment.

So you passed elevator and avoided auto-banning, that's good to hear, lucky you, can you tell me more about this "massive orgy", because you know, almost all people on discord complain about shitty performance (extremely high cpu usage) so I guess you have current gen i9 processor? paired with 32gb of ram and rtx3090?

He does most likely have that indeed....and a 3rd reason would be cause the random animation of just someone poping up their character and whatever they want in there in the back ground can be distracting to some ya just want to focus on what you put up and fap to it

But ye one lucky person that likes the "game" and works for him isnt enough to change the mind of a majority of people that even supported them and got fucked over

Also online gameplay did not stop people from pirating games before, normal game companies tried it and did not work its just a matter of time so thats just an excuse could have kept it offline and nothing would have changed, they got their money anyway, but i do think they would have earned more of a following and more subscribers if they just kept it as offline. Now they will most likely lose money cause people will unsubscribe, but again they earned their money for years on this game even if the end product is prob gona be a gatcha that most supporters hate.

All the drones that like this game have to much money in their wallet. Not everyone can afford to support someone for years just to see the game they supported end up like this

Of course I do not have an I9 and an RTX3090. Games do not need an RTX 3090 so it. If I didn't use VMs for work I'd only have 32GB of RAM.

Despite the fact that pornhub, porntrex, xhamster, xnxx, and so on exist porn keeps getting produced because companies have subscribers that pay for their content. Fallen Doll will continue to exist because it's interactive/dynamic porn, despite most video formats are static. Also, someone will need to reverse engineer the game servers and I really doubt it will happen for a long time. MMOs, with hundreds of thousands of users, take a long time to get a dedicated small base that will reverse engineer their game server. This game does not have that kind of interest from a team of software developers and network engineers.

Sorry but you are in the wrong place if you want to be the Yes man Echo just go back to Discord and kiss their feet if you realy like em that much

And who said anything bout MMO and the game being pirated as an online game(most hate that shit anyway in it)...they can make it offline and cheat the game itself just to make all the things unlocked so you could see the scenes (Like the game was ment to be at the begining before turning it into this heresy)

It will take time but it will happen eventualy and even if it doesnt nobody will die if this crappy excuse of an attempt to "get rid of piracy"

I gave money to them aswell (saying this before ya call me a greedy pirate) before they stopped updating and i smelled something fishy when they did not even try to give us anything to "play"

So many bad choices went into this game after they stopped updating

They could have finished with this game and then just start a new project with the same plans they did with this one and be upfront bout it being an MMO Gatcha porn game...then i doubt they would have had this much shit on their discord server
I mean when you need to tell your supporters to "shut up" instead of telling them you will see bout making some changes ya know ya done goofed

Wait, didn't they declared that you cannot and will not be able to pay for in-game currency? I don't really know the detail of this steam release, but we do have a game " Xenoblade 2" that has gacha in the actual game, but you don't pay real money to do the gacha, it's all game currency. (which I also fuckin hate, for real). just want to say it's not money grind if you can't pay real money for the gacha, at least for now. but still, putting gacha in a sex game is stupid, they can make it an normal progress unlock system instead of gacha unlock.

No, currency (likes/inspiration/stamina/sanity) wont be sold but DLC will. They haven't said what the DLC will be but I'd expect it to be different environments with new monsters. They made that commitment to us.

You seem to have forgotten that they are working towards making it so assets server side, which are streamed to the client and not stored on the users end. You wont be able to pirate a game that wont have the models on the users end. You'll need to emulate the server that will send the assets to your "pirated" client. This is another way to enforce DRM and also makes it easier to secure their assets that people keep ripping off and uploading to sites for $$.

Let's make one thing clear. There is absolutely NOTHING stopping them from selling the in-game currency for cash in the future.
Those are nothing more then empty promises.
It goes like this : they make big promises to make people feel safe. People spend hundreds if not thousands of hours and dollars on the game. Then they slowly put more egregious things in cash shop, but people can't quit because they have invested so much into the game already.

Sunk cost fallacy alongside FOMO (fear of missing out) and habit building (by time gating progression) are the three pillars of gacha games.
They already have two of those, if you think they won't pull the third you are just delusional.

I am happy with the interaction with the Discord community
I'm somehow not surprised. Meanwhile long term supporters got banned for criticizing the game and now have nowhere to get news from.

ProjectH has been open about the fact that they will end up offering DLCs for added content
Misleading for normal people DLC stands for _content_ so they will think that for example there will be extra missions that they can purchase for the single player.
When people think DLC they don't think MTX and most certainly they don't think FOMO cash shop.

Their current product is something I like and this community mostly complains because they are...

1) Insecure with theirselves and not wanting to wank knowing someone else is wanking in the same virtual room as theirselves

2) Not happy that they can't pirate this game
Yikes, insecure .
People have totally no reason to dislike DRM, it totally wasn't autobanning people for "suspicious activity". Nah it's just pirates .

How about people that can run gallery just fine but have too low fps in harem mode? Or run out of Vram and crash?

Also tell me how does time gating progression and forcing people to daily gacha grind enhances their experience?
And what happens if there is low population during your play hours and there aren't people around to give you likes?
