People are getting time limited bans due to how they are acting. I've watched people be critical in a civilized way and not get banned while others be hostile and they deserve their 24 hour, or so, ban.
If you cant afford the extra content then don't buy it. They have not said what the extra content will be.
They are removing the EAC bans and I haven't seen anyone mention getting banned today.
Google "what happens when you run out of vram?" and you'll see that you do NOT crash when you run out. The game was built expecting most of their player base to be on RTX 30XX because they they didn't anticipate what happened this year. They spent several months reigning in the system and they know they still have more work to do.
Did you really not think about it? It gets people to come back to collect more animations so others can study them and unlock it. The devs want a community where people will continue to login instead of everyone have access to all the animations, wank for 5 minutes, and then log back out. They need to have a reason to have an online system since it was in the agreement with the studio that donated the server infrastructure.

Mate, you can't be serious with this one. You're acting like a 3060 has double the performance of a 2080Ti. This isn't a simple matter of some people having outdated video cards, this is a fundamental problem with the performance.
Why would you pick the top tier 20xx against the bottom tier 30xx when you know the 2080 Ti is the one with double the performance? Honestly, I can't blame you because you do not follow the project from a front row seat and you're information is second or third hand at best.
They are going for visual effects, which in a b battle of 2060 vs 3060, the 3060 excels. Their entire point in upgrading the Unreal Engine is for visual effects that they rolled back.
Purely based on the fact there's time in the discord for there not to be messages, I assume the hotfix worked for a lot of people to get past the elevator.
That being said performance complaints went up.

Ironically, it seems the actual game itself doesn't have a strong team of software developers or network engineers either - from what I'm seeing, all the networking is HTTP JSON requests. That's right, even things like updating your position are all individual HTTPS requests. That alone should help networking folks understand why the multiplayer is as bad as it is. I'm skeptical that any professional network programmer would use TCP rather than UDP for their game protocol, much less HTTP - Google is full of articles on why TCP is a terrible choice for real-time game networking (

Give you a hint, the 3060 is behind the 2080ti by around 30 to 40% on average. If you said 3070 you might have some credibility but 3060 is just lol.

At this point i think you guys seriously need to stock your money, Project Helius learn too may damn thing from normal gacha game now, they probably will force you to gacha roll character and monster in the future

i even put in the 3060Ti in there....and its still worse if you took more then a minute to just put the info in it actualy says even on yours that the 3060 is worse then 2080Ti. Now most of the people here will just ignore what good thing you say bout the game cause you cant even provide proper info on a small thing like this

So it's turning into a full blown gacha game, "f2p" but with no free content other than a cut down gallery, and to weasel around their promise of no mtx they're releasing content in paid battle passes instead. It keeps getting better and better.

I've been playing War Thunder for the past 7 years but I haven't spent a dime on it because a free to play game is a free to play game to me. If I want to spend $20 I'll spend it on an entire sepparate game not on some skin or virtual tank just to be able to have less fun stomping kids in low tier or some bullshit like that

Even if the devs spent this past year building a new architecture around the RTX 30XX series, there should not be such noticeable performance issue coming from people with high end equipment.
