Why the most promising projects tend to fail so, so hard. It makes actually hardworking devs' life much harder and indirectly gives the whole scene a bad rep of moneygrubbing Patreon milkers.
To think I considered supporting them around 0.34, dodged a fucking bullet there. At this point, I would be willing to actually pay for someone's expertise in cracking this out of pure spite. They don't deserve the money, although I feel very sorry for the creatives involved in this project.

I'm wondering what's their emergency plan if steam decides to get rid of them... Kagura had a rough time with their releases because of "rapey" content and "lolis" and all their stuff was 2D art. Here we have "forced" scenes and "camouflaged bestiality" with realistic-looking 3D girls... Tbh, since it's a rather big project I wouldn't be surprised if some major gaming news outlet would write an article about this game. It's a real possibility considering how controversial this game is. I'm not sure if stirring the pot and creating drama with their patreons around game's release is a good idea. A lot of noise is the last thing you want when you are developing a porn game featuring niche fetishes...

nuking this game is easy, just rat it out to some feminist far left journalist about how fallen doll promotes pedophilia with that galatea or w/e chick and bestiality in general. i wouldn't even defend the dev if that happened lol
I can see Helius just up and getting himself banned with no outside help. They constantly discuss plans of stealth patching Galatea back to the loli mode after they change her for steam, so if they catch them doing that or even just catch wind of stuff like that from the discord they'd be blacklisted pretty quick.
I think the difference is that they are working with some steam advisor and he tells them what is ok. There is no story here so there is no context to the rape so my guess is that as long as the girl ain't screaming they won't classify it as rape. The 3D models are easy to present for review they stay consistent while 2D art is not, one scene might be fine and another will rise flags. The reviewer won't check every scene also Kagura aren't developers so they can't redraw the scenes.
How steam would react to mass report or media coverage none knows.
No i don't think they are stupid like that, they give people false hope. Unofficial mod ? maybe, if the changes are facial because hight would mess with animations.

Call me whatever but this MP in a porn game is a huge turn off, likes from some random dude to unlock smut is even worse. I supported this game till 0.34 now I hope it gets a unofficial patch soon. What is the point of the sanity system, I know it's a lore thing but, oh damn they are gonna offer paid sanity boosters later aren't they.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I could live with the current haram mode if they implement an option to go into a solo lobby instead. Sure, the only likes you can get would be from the simultaneous orgasm or whatever, but its more appealing than having to fuck around in a lobby with nine other people all the time. At least give us this small concession.

This game has been the biggest let down, around .34 i could not have been more excited, now i have 0 interest other then watching it fall apart as they totaly ignore their supporters and build some online gatcha crap.
I think to even allow this kind of dev to exist is a huge humiliation to other hard working devs out there. You can clearly see how greedy he is and sole purpose of the "harem mode" is to milk more money out of this game. Oh f**k him.

Not just gacha but also a Steam game with "questionable" fetishes. I'm expecting a scandal to unfold; The Breeding Season proportions.
I always thought that porn games are a passion project first and source of income second. And experience shows that when these two switch places - that's when shit like the above-mentioned game happens. With all the media coverage to boot, and I don't think Steam will want anything to do with what this game can be bashed for. I feel like it either will force dev to remove all questionable content (because someone will file a complaint) or they will push him from the platform. Either way, this game is fucked.

I have loaded into the harem mode menu without any need for the official Project H servers.
If you downloaded the version posted at the beginning of this thread, Harem mode is not available and redirects to the Patreon page.
Can someone please upload the file again? On a torrent, so it doesn't get taken down again.

a certain boot licker said their files and characters are client based so if you dont connect to it you cant get the stuff to see the animations or characters
