No, currency (likes/inspiration/stamina/sanity) wont be sold but DLC will. They haven't said what the DLC will be but I'd expect it to be different environments with new monsters. They made that commitment to us.
They already have two of those, if you think they won't pull the third you are just delusional.Let's make one thing clear. There is absolutely NOTHING stopping them from selling the in-game currency for cash in the future.
Those are nothing more then empty promises.
It goes like this : they make big promises to make people feel safe. People spend hundreds if not thousands of hours and dollars on the game. Then they slowly put more egregious things in cash shop, but people can't quit because they have invested so much into the game already.
Sunk cost fallacy alongside FOMO (fear of missing out) and habit building (by time gating progression) are the three pillars of gacha games.
I'm somehow not surprised. Meanwhile long term supporters got banned for criticizing the game and now have nowhere to get news from.I am happy with the interaction with the Discord community
Misleading for normal people DLC stands for _content_ so they will think that for example there will be extra missions that they can purchase for the single player.ProjectH has been open about the fact that they will end up offering DLCs for added content
When people think DLC they don't think MTX and most certainly they don't think FOMO cash shop.
Yikes, insecure .Their current product is something I like and this community mostly complains because they are...
1) Insecure with theirselves and not wanting to wank knowing someone else is wanking in the same virtual room as theirselves
2) Not happy that they can't pirate this game
People have totally no reason to dislike DRM, it totally wasn't autobanning people for "suspicious activity". Nah it's just pirates .
How about people that can run gallery just fine but have too low fps in harem mode? Or run out of Vram and crash?
Also tell me how does time gating progression and forcing people to daily gacha grind enhances their experience?
And what happens if there is low population during your play hours and there aren't people around to give you likes?
