I heard that the game Project Helius has version 0.8.0f with many new updates, I'm quite surprised that it doesn't have a cracked version.

If you want a pirated version you will have to wait years lad.

The pirated version here has all you need, the main game on Patreon is barely functional. The new update has even more predatory practices, so keep your distance from that mess.
Enjoy the pirated version here for what it is, it's better for your wallet lad.
A lot of good games are coming to PC this year, no reason to waste your hard-earned Quids on this unoptimized animation viewer.
I know you want to believe the cracked version is better since most people here don't really have access to the paid version, but from my first hand experience the latest updates are way better in terms of optimization, graphic quality and sex scene variaties. I will give them the credit that they didn't waste the effort to update the game to unreal engine 5.
I'm not going to try to convince you though, just believe what you want to believe if that makes you happier.

I have access to the game lad, I just shared my opinion. All that unoptimized mess, and grindy as fuck is not worth the hassle in my humble opinion. Unlocking things takes too much time, the gacha and everything around it gives me a headache when all I want is to have a wank in peace.

Tbf he didn't say it's "better," only that it's better for your wallet and has "all you need." Which is pretty accurate.
It's been a few months since I played the closed beta but last time I checked it wasn't significantly different to the build on here from a few years back. A few extra characters, one map and some animations but the downside of having to grind in a game with no gameplay loop to unlock anything.
If somebody is tossing up getting the game I'd definitely advise to try the pirated version first and stay away if they wouldn't be happy to pay >$30 for that with some extremely aggressive F2P-style monetisation thrown in.

I have access to the paid version and using old sex scenes to unlock new ones is awful. hoping either the character or a random person gives me a like so I can get a new outfit. and many other gacha mechanics

FWIW the version hosted here is lacking the newer content but the optimization isn't that far off. For one, since you only play solo in the cracked version you aren't experiencing the same performance hit you would in lobbies with other players, so there's less going on stressing your PC. I own the game and would say you aren't missing much playing this version compared to the closed beta.
0.49 definitely does not "look better". No where close, not even objectively per individual tastes. The current paid version is definitely significantly ahead, visually, at this point. Particularly, lighting and material interaction like skin.
Stability, aside from the week or two after updates it seems mostly fine now days, especially since Helius updates so fucking slow now that there are noticeable gaps between updates. It is kind of sad his updates do regularly have issues, though, even if it is just for a few days or week/2.
One thing I've not tested is if the game runs faster when you hide other people. I remember it did not before which is fucking dumb and would solve that point you are raising about number of players. There also needs to be optimizations on the CPU side as player count has a huge impact there and that is arguably the biggest problem for now because if you have a modern CPU you are fine but if your CPU is older you're basically fucked in a full lobby compared to 0.49. That said, even with the most powerful consumer CPU and insane overclock you still can't max out a RTX 4090 or most other high end GPUs. You can get great FPS, but the fact your CPU bottlenecks so hard even on the top end CPUs only tapping like 30-40% of high end GPUs while running 4K native (no upscaling) is hilariously fucked.
Worth mention is I still see some people complain about blurry textures on the current version and for past several months, unlike 0.49 which (as far as I know) does not have that issue.
yeah it's genuinely baffling that there are people saying 0.49 looks better than 0.82 here. if they are not blatantly lying they probably need a vision test...
I have never seen anybody elsewhere thinking that way.

Care to share comparisons then? I don't think latest version is so much better than 0.49 because people who own the "game" shared screenshots from it before. Honestly, it doesn't look much better. The lighting system is probably better but I doubt it is a very significant upgrade.

Not the greatest screenshots but here are some comparisons. First set of comparisons are in gallery and second set are in harem on the station map. For closed beta version it's small but you can see fps at top right and for cracked you can see fps in bottom left. Settings are the same/max for both. Btw, while taking these I discovered that the hide feature still isn't working properly lol, still had players showing despite me hiding everyone in the lobby, had to find an area where no one was showing. Personally I can see visual improvements, but the people saying they're significantly better are blowing it out of proportion imo. It's a negligible difference in my eyes. Kinda the same with other porn games that upgraded to UE5, in some areas it looks a bit better but overall the visual difference isn't that significant unless the game looked like hot ass beforehand, which wasn't the case for Fallen Doll since visuals were never an issue, imo at least.
