I don't know myself about details but EAC should have capacity to look for running processes, right? It is not cracked version so EAC needs to be running? They could push update that has EAC report on next opportunity if it detects Mindflayer.In theory ProjectH could release a client update that specifically looks for Mindflayer, but I personally don't think it's super likely. I haven't heard of any games scanning specifically for server emulators, and if they were to ban you somehow, what would they ban you from besides the official servers that you don't want to use anyway? I haven't heard of a developer revoking access to a Steam game for a specific account, although it might be possible in theory, in which case you'd have to use the crack. I tested Mindflayer with a Steam account that owns the game, and haven't faced any repercussions so far.
EAC is specifically not DRM according to Epic, and is not seriously useful outside of securing connections to their game servers. Mindflayer also generally avoids EAC by using the techniques I have posted about in my previous investigations.
To run the game normally, launch the game like normal, instead of running Mindflayer. Mindflayer has no effect when it is not launching the game itself.
It's hard to be sure ahead of time, but it's possible that if they don't change anything network-related, there might not be a need for changes to Mindflayer. But even if I do need to update Mindflayer, I don't anticipate it taking very long.
We are in beta its quite possible we will get new key for EA. Or that they do something to prevent your tool from working. I would rather not be relay on crack to run game i've paid for.
