There's a barebones demo version on steam as I understand it but theres not new stuff in it compared to the 0.34 cracked version if I recall, otherwise you'll have to buy it through patreon and get a steam key
is fine tho but alot of yall say this game need to grind and i hate that lel

Yeah don't buy the game if you don't want a gallery viewer with F2P and Mobile game mechanics.
Apparently the servers are also region locked so good luck finding players if your region is dead.
Also apparently some features of the game will be restricted to coop play only in the future, so if you like the stuff that is coop specific you need to fap together with another player whether you want it or not if you want to see it.

Yeah Subverse had a weak start, but... I like 'm for the fact that they listened to the feedback. And their second release actually was a big improvement.

Yea and if you watch their blog they are even asking us questions. Like they released a barebones sample of 3D camera sex scene and asked us if we want more or not because it would take more time away from other scenes (quality vs quanity).

Subverse has no grinding, microtransactions and is entirely offline.

For those wondering how to get the latest version of operation lovecraft, the answer is dont.

And to think that people were disappointed with how Subverse turned out. Well, no matter how bad it actually was at the very least it was a fucking game. Not a job that doesn't give but only takes from you.
Truly PH made a Lovecraftian horror!
I never understood thebsubverse hate.
Its funny, has great scenes, no grind, doesnt need to be online, decent gameplay, more characters and more to come.

Did anyone backup 0.4.2 ? Current update Mindflayer launches the game & then immediately crashes.
Also, if you kill EAC after the game launches you can use cheat engine for a speedhack. You can speed through animations using that and avoid some of the grind (if you're into that)

EDIT: Im able to launch the game via launching it on steam first and then from Mindflayer. However that has no internet access and harem doesn't load so they unfortunately changed something.

They did say the initial release would only contain the first few chapters and 3 characters. The blogs show they are really listening to the feedback. Not like project H where they have a tsunami of negative feedback and are doing shit all about it.

Your right though, the end product of subverse will be great!

Merry Christmas!

Here's the first public release of Mindflayer, my reimplementation of the online systems of Operation Lovecraft!

Mindflayer 1.0.0 (for game 0.4.2) Mega: Mega

Usage: Extract into the Paralogue/Binaries/Win64 folder of a cracked (or legit owned) game, run Mindflayer, and on the first run click OK and Yes.

Known issues:
- Going back to the changing room is not yet implemented and can be buggy
- Exiting a scene sometimes hides a part of the character's model (it comes back when starting another scene)
- Gacha elements such as the store, missions, news, mail, etc are intentionally not implemented
- Sanity and character stamina drain are currently not implemented, not sure if it's wanted

Note that this is for game version 0.4.2, which hasn't been released & cracked just yet. If you don't own the game, you will need to wait for a 0.4.2 crack. It doesn't quite work right with 0.4.0.

In the near future, I will continue cleaning up the code so I can open-source the project on GitLab, and when the next game version comes out (supposedly soon) I'll be ready to fix anything that breaks.
can u get banned for using this in a real steam game? like vac or server perm ban?

For a game that kickstarted two million bux it released in an inexcusably bare bones state, and the sketchy fowcoin drama on top of that.
People think that 2mil is way more money then it actually is. Base goal was 200k ? the last goal @ 800k was manga and after that there were no goals. Why do you think that is? because it is very hard to upscale. People seem to have expected scenes like in Illusion game and xcom gameplay - like wtf?
Then there are several projects that on patreon did rise over 2mil - where they are ? either nowhere near finished like FD or fukin VN with pre-rendered scenes.

2mil is way more than most indie devs have access to and if they failed to deliver anything substantial with that I wonder what they expected to deliver for 200k. The whole "AAA porn game" concept is cursed imo and it seems like most of them are just shooting for a clone of another game with a porn gallery tacked on.

You do know the baggage that pron games have, right? We don't know if their core team is indie to begin with and then recruiting talented indie devs that are willing to work on porn game and won't leave in few months is on whole another level.
There is the problem of managing the team that you don't need to do if you have 3 people on project.
Don't like unity / unreal provide free assets that you can use for your game? Like character models, clothing etc?
But that shit is worthless for porn game you need to make the stuff yourself.

There so many extra challenges coming both from being bigger product, being porn game and being a new studio that i don't think "but indie devs" is a valid argument.

You're right that "but indie devs" shouldn't apply to FOW because they've been a semi-professional animation group for years which makes it even more confusing how Subverse ended up like it did.
