Well, when you're greedy and you want more money and suddenly pirates makes a more enjoyable experience due to removing grind in a porn which no one wanted in the game in the first place. There are only two paths to take, improve the game to what people want or make it harder to pirate. Of course Helius will go for the option on making it harder to pirate because he wants every little dollar he can get, if he decides to rebuild the game 500 times just to fuck with pirates and not add new content I would honestly not be surprised.

I mean it isn't bad to want to make money and lots of it, just don't utterly fuck over your consumers with shitty practices and make a good fucking game instead with the stuff they wanted in the first place, not forced multiplayer and f2p mechanics for anti piracy and pure greed.

Let me make a prediction. Helius will, after a longer while of cash grabbing, tell his patreon/discord followers that due to the ongoing piracy activity (us) of Operation Lovecraft (and thus focusing on anti-piracy programming) he has suffered quite the setback in the planned "extra" scenes and outfits.

I've downloaded the 0.4.5 update and ran it, but boy, even though the details and graphics are great, the rest of the game is just abhorrent, uninspired and above all prentious as hell. Even if the implemented harem mode would be useable in Singleplayer, what would be the use? A gallery mode would suffice. This all just looks like a framework to convince less socialy developed investors (those who can't fathom the idea you wouldn't want to mastrubate together with other anonymous multiplayers) to invest even more.

I've removed the game from my HDD and can't see any reason to install it back on there any time soon if the direction and time-investment of Helius doesn't change.

I feel like everyone just forgets Helius already has a dead project under his belt. I mean he happily abandoned the original fallen doll for something more profitable when the thought came along (even taking the download off his site), it will happen here too.

Or PH could just make harem mode F2P with grindy (not as grindy as it is now) but achievable progression. Then there will be no need to hack/cheat.

How I got it to work in Harem mode.

• Download 0.45
• Delete the certificate file under "\Paralogue\Binaries\Win64"
• right click "Mindflayer.Desktop.exe" and run as administrator. That's it. Now I have access to Harem mode.

BTW its a total disappointment.

This is because while you're running 0.4.5 , you aren't running it via Mindflayer. YOu have to 1st launch the legit game with FallenDollLauncher.exe , let that run and then while thats running launch Mindflayer.

Also, to everyone saying to run mindflayer in admin mode: I haven't had to do that a single time to get everything working

Oh, I missed this at first. It will be free to be a creep who just stares at people in Harem mode, but the ability to place your own animations is what needs the harem pass. It will be interesting to see if they limit viewer server slots to ensure you don't just get 10 people who can't do anything. These guys might be invisible though.

Good effort on the torrent seeding guys, I have a ratio of 3 and can see lots of seeders. This is how its supposed to see, fuck paying for filehosting when torrents exist.

The torrent should probably just be added to the front page?

I just played it and imo it's just a glorified scene viewer, the animations aren't even that good and the game is laggy af

Reading all the stuff, that it won´t work for few/some ppl and that the HAREM Mode sucks. But still... Can someone do a post about what version work with what setting? Like I don´t get it, why I wold buy the game on steam and use some data from F95, maybe I´m stupid.

I've gotten it to work! Let me know if this helps anyone else out.

First, I downloaded one of the Fallen Doll game files. The one I downloaded is depot_1810921, but the torrent one will work too.

First, navigate to depot_1810921\Paralogue\Binaries\Win64 (depot can be whatever the game file name is)

Next, delete "Mindflayercertificate". Make sure to windows search (Windows Key + S) and search "run", type "certmgr.msc", which should pull up certmgr. This is a program already on your windows machine. Click "Action", Find Certificates, and type "projecthelius". Delete any certificates there.

Next, Navigate to the game folder. Mine is "epot_1810921". Run "FallenDollLauncher.exe".

When you get to the main game menu and it runs, tab out and head back to windows file explorer. Navigate back to depot_1810921\Paralogue\Binaries\Win64. Run Mindflayer.desktop.exe. It should open a few dialogues to create a certificate. If needed, run in administrator mode. It then should open a second instance of FallenDoll.

You know you've accomplished everything right if, on the yellow menu on the right, it reads mindflayer. You should be good to go!

Run Harem mode. If you encounter an error saying to restart and connect to steam, follow the steps below

Go to "depot_1810921\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv147\Win64" (again, depot is just the name of the game folder), and replace steam_api64.dll with the attached file below.
