EAC is one of the most laughably easy anti-cheats to bypass, but given all the Harem mode content is online-only, losing internet connection will deny you everything even without EAC.

They claim the in-game currency to unlock things won't be purchasable, but enforcing a grind is how every AAA publisher has created a problem so they can sell you a solution - like how Ubisoft sells "time savers" (exp boosters) to shorten their grind (technically not selling currency, still milking you for money though). Given how Helius has been chasing industry buzzwords like "games as a service", "season pass", and "cloud gaming", it wouldn't be surprising to see him chase other industry shit-tier practices.

The entire game is online only because of how they implemented EAC, you literally can't even make it to the main menu without an internet connection on the current legitimate version of the game. When I first attempted Cheat Engine I figured it would be like Elden Ring where you can boot the game without EAC if you're offline, but with this game it gives you a launch error and forces you to exit lol, so even the "offline" Gallery mode is inaccessible.

I might be imagining this, as there have been so many contradictory claims, but weren't they going to give backers in-game currency to the value of their backing along with the first season pass at one point?

Either way it seems unlikely that they'd introduce multiple in-game currencies if they couldn't be converted between one another in some form, as the primary goal of that approach is to obfuscate costs which only works if the final purchase is in one of the layered currencies.

Upgrade your PC.That all you can do.
Harem Mode render too much high resolution texture at the same time.
If you can't run gallery smooth at 30fps no hope for harem mode.

Nothing particularly new since the 2021 update in December. Ideally, with the rebuild they were testing earlier today when it brought servers down it should bring new content and possibly new characters like Celia.

Correct. That, character packs and season pass progress are all monetized. I can't find the details of the char packs atm, sorry but they are further back in this thread.

Colress, keep this attitude open. Be the mod to make a dev account here and talk to people. Most either don't know who you are or are more or less fine with you, the best Helius' team can hope for honestly. If you engage people on a forum where your colleagues can't just delete what they don't like you can help shake the rep of a team who censors everything.

Did you just start the game in offline mode? The way EAC was bypassed in Elden Ring was to copy the game's executable and rename it to EAC's executable.

Imagine monetizing what is essentially a tech demo and trying to force it into your "game as a service" bullshit before it's even in a workable state. Devs are skipping the entire development pipeline and shooting for the money at the end.

Did you just start the game in offline mode? The way EAC was bypassed in Elden Ring was to copy the game's executable and rename it to EAC's executable.

Just disconnect from your internet and try to launch legitimate version of Fallen Doll and you won't be able to get past EAC, it gives you an error and forces you to close the game. With Elden Ring I just launch using WeMod to add runes and whatnot.
